| Objective:The area of Mason type Ⅱ radial head fractures was measured by three-dimensional reconstruction technique and the difference between Mason type Ⅱ radial head fracture area and the safe zone was compared. Methods:Forty patients(22 males and 18 females),aged from 18 to 69 years old, with an average of 37 years old,who were diagnosed in our hospital from January 2015 to September 2018.The radial head was fitted into a circle, and the start angle, end angle and fracture range of the fracture area were measured by three observers, and the data were statistically analyzed. We divided the fitting circle according to a clock face of 360° with every interval of 10° as a sector.Campare the relationship between the safe zone with the fracture area. Results:Between 30° and 120° in the common area of Mason type Ⅱ radial head,35°(39%)was in the safe zone and 55°(61%)in the unsafe zone.Between 210° and 270° in the non-fracture area were all located in the unsafe zone. The average zone is from 2° to 153°,of which 63°(42%)is in the safe zone and 88°(58%)is in the unsafe zone. Conclusion:It is suggested that the Mason type Ⅱ radial head fracture area is mainly located in the anterolateral and anteromedial, while the safe zone is located in the anterolateral and posterolateral. It is proved that the fracture of radial head often involves the unsafe area. |
