| Since 2016,the Chinese State Council released the Decision of the State Council on Accelerating the Development of Modern Vocational Education in which high requirements and expectations for Chinese Higher Vocational Education were raised.However,the traditional teaching model of higher vocational education has many drawbacks.For example,in conventional classrooms,students were only required to have simple and mechanical memory of terms and concepts,and students only learned passively,with low learning motivation and low interest in learning.Such a conventional pedagogy model failed to meet the objectives of cultivating qualified talents in Chinese Higher Vocational Education.Since2012,digitalization reform in education and pedagogy started and developed rapidly across the world.Supported by information technology,the flipped-classroom teach model can break the time and space limitations of the traditional teaching model,stimulate students’ learning motivation,and increase students’ interest in learning by using innovative approaches,aiming to improve the quality of talent training in higher vocational education for training high-quality technical and technical talents for the country and society.In this research,the Recent Development Area Theory,the Learning Pyramid Theory,the Master Learning Theory and Cognitive domain theory of educational goals are used as the theoretical basis.Research methods applied in this study include literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,and experimental research,and the study subject is pedagogy in “Elder People’s Body Structure and Functions” course contents.A literature review was used to provide a theoretical basis for flipped classrooms;survey and interview were used to explore the current conditions and situations in the classroom and to identify issues and problems in the process of pedagogy,and analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of flipped classroom.experimental research used SPSS statistical software to compare the learning effect of the experimental group and the control group.All these research methods can be used to analyze the performance and effects of flipped classrooms in “Elder People’s Body Structure and Functions” course contents of the Chinese Higher Vocational Education.This paper firstly explores the current conditions and situations in the pedagogy of “Elder People’s Body Structure and Functions” course contents in Chinese Higher Vocational Education through questionnaire surveys and interviews with students and teachers of the course and summarize the existing problems and the efficiency of the Flipped classroom.Next,based on the analysis of the relevant situation and learning situation of the course,the flipped classroom teaching design is carried out to build a teaching model suitable for flipped classroom.Besides,employed the body system of elder people as subjects and organs like trunk muscles and limb muscles as teaching cases to design and implement flipped classroom.Last but not least,through the analysis of the experimental group and the control group’s passing rate of the final written test,the average scores of different groups,the number of people in each score section,and results of SPSS statistical software and surveys on students and teachers,to gather the results of the comparative analysis and the feedback of school.Through the analysis of the status of teaching practice,the experimental group’s pass rate(87.5%)is higher than the control group’s(59.6%),the experimental group’s average score(81.2 points)is higher than the control group’s average score(63.2 points),and the experimental group’s high score segment accounted for 64.3%,which is higher than 31.9%of the control group.The SPSS software statistics are performed on the final written test scores,and the T-test results are: The F value is 16.591,and the sig value is 0.000 <0.05,which is indicating that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the final written test scores.According to the gathered status of the questionnaire survey of the experimental group and the control group,the problems of the traditional teaching model have been greatly improved in the experimental group that adopted the flipped classroom teaching model.Compared to the control group which adopts the traditional teaching model,the result is basically as before.The school’s teaching supervisor also gave a positive evaluation of the flipped classroom teaching model,which verifies that the flipped classroom in the teaching of in Chinese Higher Vocational Education"Structure and ompared to the control group which adopts the traditional teaching model,the result is basically as before.The Structure and Functions” in Chinese Higher Vocational Education.Through practice,application and study,flipped classrooms contribute to the effect and outcomes of pedagogy.Also,suggestions that help to improve the limitations and correct drawbacks in the flipped classroom are provided. |
