Research On The Equalization Of Basic Medical Public Services In Urban And Rural Areas

With the continuous development of China’s economy and the improvement of people’s living standards,the gap between urban and rural basic medical public services is growing.This problem is not only related to the improvement of national health level,but also has an impact on social equity,stability and harmonious development.To realize the equalization of basic medical public services in urban and rural areas is the basic goal of building a socialist harmonious society,which is of great significance for coordinating urban and rural development,improving people’s well-being,and improving the health level of urban and rural residents.How to meet the people’s growing demand for medical and health services,so that urban and rural residents can equally enjoy basic medical public services,is an important issue in the field of basic medical public service practice and academic research.Based on the data of China Health Statistical Yearbook in 2020 and Shandong Health Statistical Yearbook in 2018 and 2019,this paper analyzes the current situation of equalization of basic medical and health services in China,Shandong Province and X city Methods to demonstrate the facts,combined with practical experience,comprehensive analysis of urban and rural basic medical and health service equalization problems,and then according to the problems,explore the root causes of its existence,and try to put forward countermeasures,to help urban and rural areas reduce the level of basic medical public service inequality.Specifically,this paper consists of three parts: the first part mainly introduces the background and research significance of the topic.At the same time,it summarizes the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of the equalization of basic medical public services in urban and rural areas.The second part is the key part of this paper.First of all,we find out the differences between urban and rural basic medical public services in China,dig out the existing problems,and then analyze the deepseated reasons from the four aspects of government functions,medical public service system,financial system and urban-rural dual system,using the method of data and charts to prove the facts.The last part is the difficulty and key part of the full text,through the corresponding reason analysis of X city in Shandong Province,put forward reasonable and effective countermeasures and suggestions to promote the equalization of urban and rural basic medical public services.Through the above research,this paper concludes that establishing and improving the urban and rural medical public service system,improving the government’s ruling concept,deepening the reform of the financial system,breaking the urban and rural dual system are effective means to achieve the equalization of urban and rural medical public service.
