Objective:To evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect by observing the effects of Nourishing Kidney and Qi Therapy combined with point Application on lung function, immune function,TCM syndrome score,CAT score and other indicators of stable COPD patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency,so as to provide a more effective treatment plan for the treatment of stable COPD patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency by integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:90 Patients with stable COPD of lung and kidney qi deficiency type who met the inclusion criteria were selected divided into control group, traditional Chinese medicine group and combined group by random number table method, every group has 30 patients. The control group was given western medicine basic treatment. The traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with pingchuan Guben Decoction at the same time of Western medicine basic treatment. The combined group was given pingchuan Guben Decoction while receiving Western medicine basic treatment. The changes of lung function, immunoglobulin,T lymphocyte subsets,TCM syndrome score, and CAT score before and 2 months after treatment were observed in each group of patients, and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the three groups in the treatment of the disease.Results:1.Lung function:After treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in FEV1,FVC,FEV1/FVC among the control group, traditional Chinese medicine group and combined group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.Immunoglobulin:The levels of IgA,IgG,and IgM in the three groups were improved after treatment. The improvement degree of the combined group was better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group, and the Chinese medicine group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.T lymphocyte subsets:After treatment,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+in the combined group and the traditional Chinese medicine group increased and CD8+decreased after treatment. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance in the control group(P>0.05).The increase degree of CD4+,CD4+/CD8+and the decrease degree of CD8+in the combined group were better those in the Chinese medicine group, while those in the Chinese medicine group was better than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Clinical symptom indicators:The TCM syndrome scores of the control group,Chinese medicine group and combined group, after treatment were all lower than before. The improvement in the combined group was the best, followed by that in the traditional Chinese medicine group, which was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Efficacy of TCM syndromes:The combination group had the best improvement in the efficacy of TCM syndromes, followed by the Chinese medicine group, which were better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.CAT score:The CAT score of the control group,Chinese medicine group, and combined group after treatment were all lower than before. The improvement in the combined group was the best, followed by that in the traditional Chinese medicine group, which was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nourishing Kidney and Qi Therapy Combined with point Application can improve the immune function,TCM syndrome score and CAT score of stable COPD patients with lung and kidney qi deficiency, but no slow down the decline rate of lung function, and there was no significant improvement in lung function, the safety is better.
