Research Purpose:To observe the effect of Shu and Mu points beating therapy in stable COPD patients.Exploring new methods of Chinese medicine rehabilitation and exercise to improve the condition of COPD patients during stable period,so as to alleviate the degree of respiratory difficulty in COPD patients, enhance exercise endurance, improve lung function, improve clinical symptoms, and improve the quality of life,at the same time to promote the appropriate TCM technology.Research methods:A total of 120 patients with stable COPD who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected from a level-iii hospital in a city of Zhejiang province from December 1,2018 to November 30,2019.Since the patient’s condition varies with the seasons,in order to avoid the effect of time on the patient’s condition,a stratified randomized controlled study was used in this study.Patients were divided into four periods for collection according to the season(Winter 12-2month;Spring of 3 to 5 month;Summer of 6 to 8 months;Autumn of 9 to 11 months). There were30 patients in each time period,15 in the control group and 15 in the experimental group. The control group received routine walking exercise and routine drug therapy. On the basis of the control group, the experimental group carried out Shu and Mu points beating therapy. Two groups of patients were observed and analyzed for their ability to exercise, breathing difficulties, quality of life, lung function, and clinical symptoms before and after intervention 1 and 3 months.Research results:1.After 3 months of intervention,a total of 111 subjects in the two groups completed the study,9 of which were exfoliated. The experimental group completed 55 cases and the control group completed 56 cases. The age, disease course, height, weight and smoking age of the subjects in the two groups before the intervention were examined by t test of independent samples.Chi-square test was performed for gender, medical payment method, use of bronchial diastolic drugs and residence. The results showed that the differences in general data were not statistically significant(P>0.05);Independent sample t test was conducted on the 6MWT distance,mMRC score,SGRQ total score,FEV1/FVC and FEV1/ predicted value, and TCM syndrome score of the two groups of subjects before intervention. The results showed that the differences beforeintervention were not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.Comparison of six-minute walking test(6MWT)between two groups of subjects: The distance of 6MWT of subjects in both groups increased with the intervention. The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there was an interaction between the time effect and the grouping effect(F=3.113,P<0.05);When grouping was not considered, the distance of 6MWT at different time points was different(F=28.441,P<0.05);Regardless of time, there was a significant difference in the score of 6MWT between the two groups(F=8.766,P<0.05).3.Comparison of the breathing difficulty index between the two groups of study subjects:The degree of dyspnea of subjects in both groups decreased with the intervention. The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there was an interaction between the time effect and the grouping effect(F=3.470,P<0.05);Regardless of grouping, the mMRC scores at different time points were different(F=13.457,P<0.05);Regardless of time, the mMRC scores of the two groups of patients with different intervention methods were significantly different(F=8.388,P<0.05).4.Comparison of SGRQ total score and scores of the two groups of study subjects: The total SGRQ scores and scores of subjects in both groups decreased with the intervention. The scores of respiratory symptoms, activity restriction and disease influence of SGRQ in the experimental group were all lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there is interaction between the time effect and grouping effect of SGRQ total score and each score(P<0.05);Regardless of grouping, the total score of SGRQ and the scores were different at different time points(P<0.05);Regardless of time, the total SGRQ scores and scores of the two groups of patients with different intervention methods were significantly different(P<0.05).5.Comparison of pulmonary function FEV1/FVC and FEV1/projected values of the two groups of study subjects: Lung function in both groups increased with intervention,The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the time effect and grouping effect of FEV1/FVC,FEV1/ predicted value all have interaction(P<0.05);Regardless of grouping,FEV1/FVC and FEV1/ estimated values at different time points were different(P <0.05);Regardless of time,There was a significant difference in FEV1/FVC and FEV1/ predicted valuebetween the two groups of patients with different intervention methods(P<0.05).6.Comparison of Chinese medicine certificate waiting points between the two groups of study subjects: The TCM syndrome score of the two groups decreased with the intervention. The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there is an interaction between the time effect and the grouping effect(F=3.361,P<0.05);Regardless of grouping, the clinical symptoms at different time points were different(F=45.744,P<0.05);Regardless of time,The clinical symptoms of the two groups of patients with different intervention methods were significantly different(F=13.959,P<0.05).Research conclusions:(1)The rehabilitation exercise in both the experimental group and the control group can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with stable COPD;(2)Compared with the control group, the experimental group had better curative effect, indicating that the application of Shu and Mu points beating therapy helps to enhance the exercise endurance of patients with stable COPD,reduce the degree of breathing difficulty, improve the lung function, improve the clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, and improve the quality of life of patients.(3)External treatment of traditional Chinese medicine--Shu and Mu points beating therapy has certain efficacy in the treatment of stable COPD patients, and with good clinical application and promotion value.
