| Cornus walteri is an excellent material for wood and oil production in China.It is also a tree species suitable for garden viewing,barren mountain afforestation and soil and water conservation,and has broad development prospects.In order to better maintain the excellent characteristics of Cornus walteri,this article took softwood cutting as study material,a two-factor experimental was used to compare three plant growth regulators of NAA,IBA,GGR and three concentrations of 1000mg/L,1500mg/L,and 2000mg/L,a single-factor experimental was used to compare cutting age of 3a and 25a,a single-factor experimental was used to compare the cutting time of July 10,August 10,and September 10,and finally screened out suitable methods for the rooting of softwood cuttings,and improved the rooting rate of softwood cuttings.At the same time,the nutrient content,oxidase activity and endogenous hormone content in the rooting process of each treatment were measured,and the physiological changes of the cutting rooting under the influence of plant growth regulators,mother tree age and cutting period were studied.The final results are as follows:(1)The type and concentration of plant growth regulators and their interaction have extremely significant effects on the rooting of softwood cuttings.Among the three plant growth regulators and three concentrations selected in this experiment,IBA2000mg/L has the best effect,and the rooting rate of cuttings was 67.33%,the average root length reached 88.52mm,the average root number was 8.33,the root surface area was 41.52cm2,the root volume was 0.53cm3,the average root diameter was1.82mm,and the root biomass was 282.00mg,which was significantly higher than other treatments.The mother tree age had an extremely significant effect on the rooting of softwood cuttings of Cornus walteri.From the ages of 3a and 25a selected in this experiment,the rooting performance of cuttings taken from the 3a was better.The cutting period had a very significant effect on the rooting of the softwood cuttings of Cornus walteri.From the three cutting periods selected in this experiment,July 10,August 10,and September 10,the cutting period was earlier on July 10.Rooting performance of cuttings was better.(2)The physiological changes of cuttings lead to rooting of cuttings,and the changes of nutrient content,oxidase activity and endogenous hormone content had an effect on rooting.Higher content of soluble sugar,soluble protein,IAA,higher activity of POD,PPO,IAAO and SOD,and lower content of GA3,ZR and ABA help cuttings to take root.Plant growth regulators,the age of the mother tree and the cutting period had an effect on the rooting of the cuttings by adjusting the nutrient content,oxidase activity and endogenous hormone content of the cuttings. |
