With the improper use of antibiotics, the problems of bacterial resistance and the decline of animal immunity become more and more serious. Therefore,it is urgent to develop safe and green feed additives for non-resistant breeding.Chinese herbal medicine has become one of the most competitive feed additives among all kinds of substitutes due to its non-toxic,non-residue,non-drug resistance and other characteristics. This experiment studied the effects of Avian All-round chinese herbal medicine additives on the growth performance and disease resistance of Luhua chickens, and on this basis, carried out a popularization experiment. In this experiment,600 healthy Luhua chickens(half male and female)with similar weight were randomly divided into 2 groups,4 replicates in each group, and 75 birds in each replicates. The control group was fed a basal diet, and the test group was fed a diet supplemented with added additionally 0.3% concentration of Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive.Pre-feeding 7 days, and the feeding experiment lasted for 35 days. This experiment explored the effects of Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive on production performance and disease resistance of 0-6 weeks old Luhua chickens. On the basis of this experiment, the popularization experiment was carried out at Jiutai District Agricultural Demonstration Base in Changchun: 6320 healthy Luhua chickens with similar weight were randomly divided into 2 groups,4 replicates in each group, and 790 birds in each replicates. This experiment explored the effects of Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive on production performance and economic benefits The results showed that:1.Production performance: At the age of 42 d,compared with the control group,FBW of the treatment group increased by 10.40%(P<0.01),ADG increased by 10.96%(P<0.05),ADFC decreased by 3.98%(P>0.05),F/G decreased by 11.76%(P<0.05),and survival rate increased by 0.34%(P>0.05).2.Immune index: At the age of 14 d and 28 d,the bursa index increased significantly by 21.12 % and 19.29%(P<0.05).At the age of 42 d,the spleen index, thymus index and bursa index increased by 13.78%,6.43% and 21.43% respectively compared with the control group(P>0.05).3.Serum immunization indices: At the age of 14 d,compared with the control group, the contents of Ig A,Ig G and Ig M increased by 14.29%,11.43% and 10.53% respectively(P>0.05).At the age of 28 d,the contents of Ig G of the treatment group increased by 6.45%(P>0.05).At the age of 42 d,the contents of Ig G of the treatment group increased by 29.11%(P>0.05),and the contents of Ig A and Ig M significantly increased by 81.82% and 20%(P <0.01),and the contents of IL-2 and IFN-?increased by 45.45% and 25.00%(P>0.05)4.Intestinal microflora : In the intestinal flora of 42 d,the content of Proteobacteria of the treatment group decreased significantly by 16.55%(P<0.05).The contents of Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes and Tenericutes increased by 7.66%,2.62% and 56.02% respectively, with no significant difference(P>0.05).The contents of Bacteroides and Alistipes increased by 4.75% and 32.54%,and the contents of Butyricimonas and Helicobacter decreased by 8.60%,with no significant difference(P>0.05).5.IL-2 m RNA Expression in Spleen: IL-2 m RNA expression in spleen of the treatment group was increased by 16.19% compared with that of control group(P>0.05).6.Economic benefits: The profit of the treatment group was 2.63 yuan more than that of the control group, and the economic benefit was increased by 34.70%.Conclusion:1.Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive could increase FBW of Luhua chickens significantly, reduce F/G,and improve production performance.2.Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive could significantly increase the bursa index of Luhua chickens at the age of 14 d and 28 d,and increase the immune organ index at the age of 42 d.3.Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive could significantly increase Ig A,Ig M,IL-2 and INF-? in serum of Luhua chickens at the age of 42 d.4.Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive could improve intestinal flora structure and increase intestinal flora diversity of Luhua chickens.5.Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive could increase the expression of IL-2 in the spleen of Luhua chickens.6.Avian All-round Chinese herbal medicine additive could improve the economic benefits of Luhua chickens.
