The 38 pesticide residues of vegetables from vegetable producers,planting cooperatives and individual growers in 9 counties of Baotou were detected 321 batches during 2018-2019.The results show that:None of the banned pesticides were detected,while 5 kinds of restricted pesticides were detected.The residue content was all lower than the maximum residue limit.Non-banned pesticide exceeded the standard once.The pesticides of vegetables was: organochlorine(8.10%)> organophosphorus(1.87%)BBB > rbamate(0.93%).The detection rate of pesticide residues in different counties ranked as Donghe District > Tumd Right Banner > Jiuyuan District,Qingshan District > Guyang county > Hondlon District,Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner and Rare Earth High-tech Zone.The detection rate of pesticide residues in Donghe District was the highest during 2018-2019.In addition to Jiuyuan District and Tumd Right Banner,the quality of agricultural products in the other 7 counties had been improved.The detection rate of pesticide residues in different category of vegetable was:Legumes > Leaf vegetables > Bulbs > Melon vegetables > Solanaceous fruit > Root vegetables.A batch of legumes were tested as unqualified products,the detection rate of which was the highest and pesticide residue of which was the most serious hazard.Leafy vegetables are next.The order of pesticide detection rate of leaf vegetables was:coriander> lettuce > rape > garland chrysanthemum,fennel and spinach > celery >leaf lettuce > cabbage.The detection rate of pesticides in Solanaceous vegetables was:green pepper > cherry tomato > pepper,tomato > eggplant.The detection rate of vegetables with certified three grades and one label was lower than that of ordinary vegetables during 2018-2019,but there was one case of unqualified sample in 2018,which indicated that such agricultural products also had potential safety risks of pesticide residues as common agricultural products.
