This article analyzes the pesticide residue situation of green leafy vegetables in 10 regions of a certain area in Inner Mongolia from 2020 to 2021,by sampling 400 batches and using gas chromatography, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.Risk assessment was also conducted. The research results show that:There were pesticide residues detected in 15.25% of the 61 batches of green leafy vegetables tested, with 387 batches passing the inspection, resulting in a pass rate of96.75%.The detection rate of pesticide residues in green leafy vegetables in the four quarters were as follows: Q3(24.00%)> Q2(21.00%)> Q4(11.00%)> Q1(5%).The pass rate was: Q1(100.00%)> Q4(99.00%)> Q2(92.00%)> Q3(82%).The detection rate of pesticide residues in various regions were: Town I > Township B > Town F,Town A > Town G,Towns E,D,J > Farm H > Town C.The pass rates of Towns C,D and I were 100.00%,and the pass rates of other towns were above 95.00% except for Township B 、Towns E(92.50%).The detection rates of various entities were: individual growers(30.00%)> corporate growers(20.00%)> cooperatives(13.00%)> vegetables purchased from other regions(7.50%).The pass rates of cooperatives, production enterprises and vegetables transported from other regions were all 100.00%,while the pass rate of individual growers was the lowest at 83.75%.A total of 10 pesticides were detected, with the detection rates of: carbendazim(2.50%),chlorpyrifos(7.50%),methamidophos(5.00%),triazolone(4.75%),imidacloprid(3.75%),cypermethrin(4.75%),avilamycin(6.50%),chlorfluazuron(3.75%),emamectin benzoate(5.25%),and cyhalothrin(4.50%).Banned pesticides were not detected, but 4 types of pesticides with restricted use were detected: triazophos, cyhalothrin, methamidophos, and emamectin benzoate. The proportion of vegetables treated with 4 or more pesticides was 7.75%,those treated with3 pesticides were 18.75%,those treated with 2 pesticides were 20.75%,and the total proportion of treated vegetables was 47.25%.The detection rates of pesticide residues in different types of green leafy vegetables were: Chinese chives(25.00%)> coriander(18.18%)> shepherd’s purse(15.38%)> celery(15.15%)> spinach(12.82%)> oilseed rape(12.50%)> Chinese cabbage(12.24%)> cabbage(11.11%)> lettuce(10.71%).Some batches of cabbage, shepherd’s purse, oilseed rape and celery failed to meet the standards. The average daily intake and maximum daily intake of pesticides detected in all vegetables are lower than the daily allowable intake of each pesticide, within the allowable range;the average target risk coefficient, average compound pollution coefficient, maximum target hazard coefficient, and maximum compound pollution coefficient are all less than 1,indicating that single and compound intake of pesticide residues in green leafy vegetables in a certain area of Inner Mongolia have little impact on the health of consumers, and there is no significant risk.
