Nowadays our country’s economy is undergoing high-quality development,and the promotion of water resource conservation and utilization has become an inevitable trend of social development and national policies.Our country’s public institutions are characterized by a large number,concentration of personnel and high levels of social attention.As an important part of the establishment of public institutions’ water-saving carriers,the hard target is that water-saving agencies require time limits.The key to the success of the project is progress management.This paper intends to solve the existing problems in project schedule management by studying the renovation project of X water-saving institution to ensure that the project is completed on time,and to promote the construction of BS’s water-saving institution.The paper takes the renovation project of X water-saving institution as the object and researches it through investigations and interviews.It finds out the problems and reasons of schedule management by comparison method of Gantt chart,Critical Path Method(CPM),network diagram and methods of other project schedule management theory;the control theory of PDCA cycle,the WBS,and the CPM are used to optimize the schedule management of the remaining engineering tasks for the project to solve the existing problems of the project;it proposes safeguard measures in terms of organization,resources,management,quality and safety to ensure that the renovation project of X water-saving institution is completed on schedule.Through research,the problems that are likely to occur in the schedule management for the renovation project of X water-saving institution include the lag of project schedule,the risk of the critical path,and the insufficient professionalism of the on-site personnel.The main reasons are the lack of awareness of schedule control,poor communication,and that the schedule is not detailed and the resources are insufficient.In the process of project implementation,the schedule is refined,the hierarchical network plan is prepared according to the needs of the project,and the work is rushed by adjusting the working relationship and adding resources;the schedule is arranged by the Gantt chart,the target of the control node is determined,and the PDCA cycle control theory and the Gantt chart are used.The special map comparison method dynamically tracks,compares,analyzes,and corrects the project schedule;rationally allocates resources and establishes a communication and coordination mechanism to solve the problems in the schedule management for the renovation project of X water-saving institution and ensure the smooth implementation of the project.Reasonable use of WBS method,comparison method of the Gantt chart and critical path method is conducive to the smooth implementation for the renovation project of X water-saving institution.The research and analysis of the problems in this paper that affects the project schedule management,the formulation and control of the project schedule will be a reference for the same type of the renovation project of X water-saving institution.
