| High-voltage DC contactor is an important&necessary component for new energy vehicles.New energy vehicles and automobile charging piles develop so fast in recent years,the market demand for high-voltage contactors has also developed greatly.As the preferred supplier of sensors and protectors with a long history of development,S Company is also keen to discover and actively intervene in the contactor field.In 2019,S Company decided to invest in the construction of the first high-pressure contactor production line in the existing factory in China to meet the demand for contactors in China,Asia and Europe.As a project manager,the author participated in the whole creation process of the high-voltage contactor project.Therefore,this paper is written to provide reference for similar projects of S Company in the future.Different from the previous projects of S Company,this project is characterized by tight project schedule,high complexity,large scale and extensive involvement.If the project is still purely in accordance with the traditional project schedule management method,it will be a very big challenge for the scheduled completion of this project.Based on the actual situation of high-voltage contactor production line construction project of S Company,this paper studies the project schedule management,and introduces the key chain method based on traditional project schedule management methods.Firstly,the project is divided into sub-project tasks such as production line workshop construction,equipment design and fabrication,product production technology transfer,material localization,equipment debugging and qualification,product verification,customer approval and mass production through the method of work breakdown structure WBS.Then,the critical chain is found through the project schedule network diagram.Based on critical chain,human factor and constraint resource factor are considered to find out the key chain.By balancing resource conflict,buffer setting and management,and with the help of some safeguard measures,dynamic management and control are carried out on the whole project duration,and the final completion is achieved on schedule.This paper explores how to manage the project schedule of high-voltage contactor production line efficiently and with high quality in S Company and is also the first attempt of S Company to manage the project schedule based on the critical chain method.Finally,mass production was completed and achieved successfully according to the expectation of the company’s management,which ensured the delivery of T Company’s goods,fully demonstrated S Company’s competitive advantage in the industry,and provided valuable reference for S Company’s future similar project schedule management. |
