With the adjustment of China’s economic structure,the construction industry enters the downlink channel.The trend of the construction industry have shifted from high-speed and large-scale development to high-quality growth,and this put forward higher requirements for the reform and transformation of construction enterprises.The minor construction enterprises,which don’t dominate in the competitive market,have to process the deepen reform under the profound changes of construction market en vironment.The improved project management can be an important breakthrough for minor construction enterprises reform.Schedule management is one of the important aspects of project management,and the level of project management is related to the economic benefits of enterprises.The minor construction enterprises face numerous challenges in schedule management,thus it is urgent to equip themselves with scientific theories and methods of schedule management.The reconstruction project of Residential Community TS was chosen as a study object,and the literatures of the schedule management of construction projects were referred to in this study.Then the research background and significance of the reconstruction project of Residential Community TS in terms of schedule management were introduced,and the status quo and achievements of schedule management at home and abroad were summarized.Through on-site investigations,interviewing with project managers,and collecting schedule management materials,the author delved into the overview,schedule management status,and problems of project.During the research,the work breakdown structure,network plan diagram and Critical Path Method were used to break the project down,to confirm the logical relationship of each step of work,to estimate the duration of the project,to draw the network plan diagram for project schedule and to decide the critical path.Furthermore,the Gantt charts was adopted to monitor the project progress.The Earned Value Method was used to effectively control the project cost and schedule.The Fishbone Diagram was applied to analyze the causes of project schedule deviation and optimize the schedule plan constantly.Finally,the project was completed and delivered on time with high quality and lower cost.The result of this study has ensured the on-time completion of the project,and reduced the quality and cost problems indirectly caused by the delay in the construction process.In addition.the schedule management case in the thesis offers a certain reference value for the minor construction enterprises.
