Research On The Reuse Of Abandoned Industrial Buildings Based On The Background Of Urban Renewal ——Taking Hankou Dazhimen Railway Station As An Example

In the process of urban renewal,due to many factors such as de-industrialization,retreat from secondary to secondary,and changes in social and economic structure,the functional layout and infrastructure of original buildings and land use can no longer meet the new urban needs.This leads to the decline of regional functionality and the gradual disappearance of architectural functions.Most of these industrial buildings have been left idle,losing their original building attributes and use value,forming abandoned spaces.The birth of abandoned space has become an unavoidable practical problem in urban development.The reuse strategy of abandoned industrial buildings and their space is the subject of this article.How to transform idle functions into functional categories that match the current social needs,to realize the transformation and coexistence of “abandoned buildings” and “heritage spaces”,to continue the characteristics of the places while activating those,in order to activate the service capabilities of the spaces and to connect the urban functional areas transformation.The article mainly focuses on a special component in the reuse of industrial heritage-transportation buildings,conducts analysis,research and reuse exploration,and defines the city through analyzing on the principles and implementation methods of adaptability and authenticity design.The main challenges and influencing factors of the reuse of internal transportation industrial buildings are analyzed,and the key impact of the functional replacement of building space on the reuse of urban idle space at different levels is clarified.This paper analyzes the successful cases of several well-known industrial historical building renovations around the world,and makes comprehensive judgments based on the comparability and matching of case types.Last,as an interpretation of the problem of space and function matching,the article discusses the renovation design based on the reuse of the Dazhi Men Railway Station building and surrounding waste space under the background of urban renewal.This article analyzes the cases Shanghai Pukou Railway Station and Orsay Museum,in order to maintain the goal of upgrade the existing building space efficiency.In this article,the design focuses on exploring the redevelop pment of Dazhi Men Railway Station and its surrounding vacant space.Taking the reuse of waste space as the background,the design strategy and implementation effect of space function matching are explored.Through the conception of the function matching plus designing method of the Terrain Vague.This is an effective measure to realize functional activation of abandoned space and reuse of building resources.Based on the purpose of connecting the historical context of the city and industrial civilization,the author integrates openness and publicity into the abandoned space,and contributes to urban construction.
