Research On The Renewal And Reuse Design And Reuse Of Old Industrial Buildings

Since the reform and opening up,the rapid economic development and the acceleration of the urbanization process have caused traditional industries to face the adjustment and upgrade of the industrial structure.As a result,the functions and forms of the original industrial buildings can no longer meet the needs of today’s development,so they have been left idle or demolished for a long time.Become an old industrial building.These old industrial buildings were once widely regarded as the main source of urban problems,wasting land resources and undermining the unity of the city.However,they have also witnessed the development of an era,carried historical changes,and have rich social and cultural values.With China’s reform and opening up,history leaves many old buildings that have made great contributions to the development of urban economic development,and people has gradually realized the value of old industrial buildings and the need for reuse.Therefore,how to complete the transformation and reuse of urban old buildings on the premise of preserving the urban development imprint has aroused people’s extensive thinking and research.This article takes the renovation of old industrial buildings in Shenzhen as the research object,and systematically expounds the basic theory and value of the renovation and reuse of old industrial buildings.According to the goals and needs of the renovation,different modes can be adopted for the renovation and reuse of old industrial buildings,including cultural and creative space,commercial space,residential space,urban landscape,and a comprehensive renovation mode combining multiple modes.Specifically,it includes two methods of regional overall design and renovation and single building renovation.The overall regional design includes integration with urban space,integration with ecological landscape,and integration with historical context;for single-unit renovation,it includes facades,Space,building volume,and ecological technology application and transformation,respectively,combined with Shenzhen Meilin Power Plant and Shenzhen International Bio Valley Life Science Industrial Park to illustrate the two methods.Finally,focus on the Yichang 809 Arsenal transformation as an example,it explains the practical application of the transformation and reuse of old industrial buildings in big cities from multiple angles,analyzes and summarizes the overall process of transformation,and conducts a practical test of the summarized strategies and methods.,In order to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for future related transformation practices.
