The current wave of globalization and integration is no longer reversible,and culture is permeating in all aspects.In the field of architecture,the rapid transmission of information and the invasion of Western culture have made the city gradually lose its local characteristics and cultural heritage,forming a situation of convergence of urban space and architectural forms.In such a large architectural environment,how to organically combine the excellent local traditional culture with modern architectural creation has become an inescapable responsibility of architects.In the Handan area,traditional houses are one of the important local cultural material carriers.After a long history of precipitation,they reflect the strong local artistic temperament and cultural connotation.However,tradition is not static,but a process of dynamic development.Therefore,at the moment,we must not only protect these material and cultural properties,but also pay attention to their inheritance and application in modern architecture.This thesis takes the traditional residential buildings in Handan area as the research object.The purpose is to sort out the characteristics of residential buildings and explore the methods of combining these features with local modern architectural creation,so as to provide design basis and theory for modern regional architectural creation in Handan area.This article takes Handan’s traditional houses as the research object,and mainly focuses on the element characteristics of Handan’s traditional houses and their application in modern architectural creation.The main content can be summarized into four parts: First,through the reading of relevant literature and the method of field investigation,the factors affecting the formation of traditional residential buildings in Handan are studied from the three aspects of physical geography,history and humanities,and economic technology.The decisive role of architectural form,plane layout,spatial structure,group form,building materials,decorative arts,structural system and structure,etc.;secondly,through a large number of field investigations on representative residential courtyards in Handan area,from the courtyard space,architecture The four aspects of modeling,detail decoration and building materials summarize its external characteristics,paving the way for the subsequent modern application research;further,from the perspective of dynamic development,it puts forward the basic application of Handan traditional residential building elements in modern architecture.Problems,contradictions and principles,and using typical case method and graphic analysis method to analyze specific application methods from four aspects of courtyard space,architectural modeling,detailed decoration and building materials.Finally,through the method of practical verification,the practical level of Handan’s traditional residential features has been tried from multiple levels and multiple angles to test the comprehensive application effect of Handan’s traditional residential elements in modern architecture,and provide a series of local modern architectural creations.Reference ideas.
