| Aiming at the phenomenon of the lost craftsmanship in construction of ancient dwelling doors in the traditional villages in Handan area, this paper takes ancient dwelling doors of 11 representative national traditional villages in Handan as the research object, and adopts the method of field research and mapping.Firstly,it comprehensively and systematically induces and summarizes the type, structure, material selection, decoration and culture, fengshui and customs of ancient dwelling doors, and establishes a data database of ancient dwelling doors in this area.Secondly,it explores the proportional relationships of embedded dwelling doors of brick and wood mixed structures,it reversely deduces the width-to-height ratios of the dwelling doors, door opening and door leaf.Meanwhile, the proportional relationships among the three and the corresponding characteristics of this kind of dwelling doors are generalized as well. After exploring the sources of these proportions and using the aesthetic analysis of modern geometric composition to analysis them,it is found that there are square and circle composition ratios of √2,√2 +1 and 2√2-1 in addition to the conventional ratios of 1:2,4:5,2:3 and 5:8,therefore,this paper has concluded a set of holistic scale relations of this kind of dwelling doors.Furthermore, this paper uses on-site measurement to obtain the width and height of high precision of the doors.Taking the geomancy of “Yabai” techniques and the regulations of Luban ruler,it reversely deduces 11 representative vernacular measuring units of traditional villages on the national level in Handan Area.It summarizes the range of vernacular measuring system, the characteristics of “Yabai” techniques and Luban ruler craftsmanship in this area, concluding a map of distribution of various measuring systems with their origins in Ming and Qing dynasties in Handan. Finally,it summarizes the construction skills of the ancient dwelling doors, explores the connection between its representation and the internal control mechanism, and provides theoretical guidance and practical guidance for the original authenticity repair and modern inheritance of the ancient dwelling doors. |
