Application Of Architectural Features Of Folk Houses In Jiangnan In Modern Residential Space

Jiangnan residential architecture is an important part of the traditional Chinese cultural system.It is located in the eastern part of the motherland and has unique landform features and climatic conditions,making "pink walls and black tiles" synonymous with Jiangnan residential architecture,especially small bridges and flowing water.The traditional design language of,people as typical nouns,contains extremely rich historical culture and human landscape,and is the biggest heritage left by the excellent culture of Jiangnan.The design and construction of residential buildings in the south of the Yangtze River are built in strict accordance with the hierarchical system,and the idea of "harmony between man and nature" is perfectly integrated into every decoration of the residential buildings.Make the architectural features of Jiangnan residential buildings an indispensable part of the traditional Chinese cultural features.This paper specifically analyzes the traditional residential buildings in the south of the Yangtze River,with the main goal of exploring their design features and practical applications,and expounds the application of traditional art elements and decorative culture in modern living spaces.Longitudinal research method,the reasons for the formation of Jiangnan dwellings,architectural features,layout structure,decorative features,interior furnishings（furniture,artwork）and interior space display art（hall,bedroom,study）and other related knowledge are refined,integration and innovation are applied in the research of modern interior furnishings design,and its inherent laws are summarized,providing a certain reference value for studying the design characteristics of traditional residential buildings in the south of the Yangtze River and how to inherit excellent culture in modern living space.This paper focuses on the architectural features of residential buildings in the Jiangnan area,and deeply analyzes the theoretical system of architectural decoration and spatial furnishings in Jiangnan residential buildings.The theoretical results can provide references for subsequent research on the architectural design characteristics,architectural layout,and spatial furnishings of Jiangnan residential buildings.Combine with modern aesthetics to provide ideas for reference.
