The tobacco industry is a special industry.On the one hand,it is established and protected by the national tobacco monopoly law.On the other hand,it has the nature of administrative monopoly.It should consider both profit-making and public welfare.It is an important source of national financial revenue.The development of tobacco industry should not only safeguard the interests of the country,but also safeguard the health of consumers.As an important department of tobacco industry,the development of tobacco machinery manufacturing industry plays a vital role in promoting the high-quality development of the whole tobacco industry.Therefore,it is of great significance to strengthen performance management,optimize performance management system,promote the development of tobacco machinery manufacturing industry,and improve economic efficiency.The paper takes company A,a tobacco machinery Co.,Ltd.as the research object.Based on combing the existing relevant research,using the relevant theory of performance management(goal management,goal setting,expectation and organizational equity),and the method of interview and questionnaire survey,the paper analyzes the current situation of a company’s existing performance management system.Through statistical analysis,four main problems(the formulation and implementation process of the performance management system is not standardized,the goal of promoting employee development is not realized,the rationality and fairness of the performance appraisal indicators are insufficient,and the performance appraisal results are not fully utilized)and corresponding reasons are found in the existing performance management system of the company.In view of the above problems,this paper optimizes the existing performance management systems of company A,focusing on five aspects: performance management organization,performance management implementation,performance goal setting,performance appraisal indicators and performance feedback.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimization scheme,this paper puts forward some safeguard measures on the implementation of the optimization scheme in company A from four aspects: organizational leadership guarantee,system measures guarantee,salary incentive guarantee and corporate culture guarantee.Through the study of this paper,the study of performance management system optimization in the tobacco industry has been supplemented to a certain extent,and at the same time,it also provides some research ideas and optimization scheme reference for the performance management system optimization of other similar enterprises.
