The year 2021 is the first year of the 14th Five-Year plan.and the steady economic development has promoted the development of the entire construction industry chain.However,in recent years,due to the impact of the real estate market and the epidemic,the overall construction market has been in a downturn,and even has a trend of sluggishness.In order to increase the business volume and improve the profit margin of the construction party,companies adopt a wide range of tactics to win the bid at a low price in the current market.However,this will have adverse effects in the long-term and cause unfair competition in the industry.As a comprehensive model that adapts to the development of market economy,Engineering Procurement Construction is in the process of rapid development.Under this background,scientific and effective cost management can increase the probability of bidding and profit margin.Only by improving the market competitiveness,the domestic enterprises can remain invincible.Therefore,it is self-evident for the importance of Engineering Procurement Construction project cost management research.This thesis draws on the experience of cost management under the Engineering Procurement Construction model at home and abroad,meanwhile combined with the domestic conditions&economic environment and own characteristics,to conduct a systematic,detailed,comprehensive research and analysis on the cost management of JINJIANG CONSTRUCTION GROUP.Through literature research,inductive analysis,and case analysis,this thesis analyzes the current cost management problems existing in the mentioned cases,based on the target cost method and earned value method.It proposes to build a scientific cost management system,which includes the establishment of Work Breakdown Structure Model,design of the organization structure,building the responsibility cost management system,improving the cost control process and assessment mechanism,and then offer a proposal of supporting safeguard measures.Meanwhile this thesis take Project A as an example to analyze the effect of cost management system implementation,so as to provide experience reference for peer construction companies in the research of cost control.
