Although China is a big country of cultural heritage,the research and practice on heritage protection and display in the West are more avant-garde and excellent to a certain extent.As a relatively cutting-edge heritage presentation theory,"palimpsest" theory has been developed for about a century in the West.In recent years,although the research on "palimpsest" theory has been gradually carried out in China,there is always a lack of systematic arrangement and in-depth exploration.This paper is based on the analysis of development process of Chinese and western historical heritage protection and presentation,and analysis of international related documents as the foundation,study on the development of "palimpsest" theory,and through in-depth analysis of the related practice case,using the combination of theory and practice of Chinese and western comparison research,put forward the difference and its reason of Chinese and western heritage presentation,to promote the further improvement and development of the theoretical system of Chinese heritage protection and presentation.The first chapter introduces the "palimpsest" theory through a brief description of the presentation of the ruins of the “Fei Xi” buildings.And makes a literature review on the theory of heritage protection,the research of heritage presentation and the related research of the “Fei Xi” buildings,do the research basis for the full text.The second chapter first discusses the origin and development of "palimpsest" theory in the West,and tries to construct the theory system.Based on the discussion and analysis of the presentation in a large number of relevant international documents on heritage protection,combined with the research of scholars domestic and abroad,analyzes the concepts similar to or related to "palimpsest" theory and summarizes the theoretical content of "palimpsest",such as its content,goal,principle,characteristics,value and significance.The third chapter analyzes the practice of "palimpsest" theory in the West,and summarizes three stages according to the order of practice,namely collage of elements,context translation and fusion,and interdisciplinary expression,corresponding to the theoretical development process of second chapter.The fourth chapter discusses the theoretical research and practice of "palimpsest" theory in China.Starting from the introduction of "palimpsest" theory,discusses its change and development and analyzes some excellent practical cases.Then reflect on the differences between Chinese and Western and the difficulties and challenges that these differences will bring to the development of "palimpsest" theory in China.The fifth chapter takes the discussion in the previous three chapters as the theoretical basis,returns to the presentation of the ruins of the “Fei Xi” buildings and tries to apply the "palimpsest" theory to the conceptual design and discusses the breakthrough brought by the "palimpsest" theory to the protection and presentation of the cultural heritage.The sixth chapter summarizes the whole text and proposes reflections on some of the unresolved problems in China at this stage,so as to pave the way and reference for the further development of the "palimpsest" theory that has not yet become a system in China.The whole thesis contains about 48 000 words,27 pictures. |
