| Expressways in the process of operation will produce different degrees of damage,and then cause the road function decline,affect driving safety.In order to improve the service life of the road and ensure driving safety,the researchers put forward to lay ultrathin wear layer on asphalt pavement for preventive maintenance.Combined with the application status of ultrathin wear layer technology,this paper were carried out the performance comparison and application research of the widely used super bonding wearing course and Nova-chip technology,it provides reference and basis for the application of ultrathin wear layer technology in practical engineering.Firstly,this paper completed the design of the mix ratio of the super bonding wear layer and Nova-chip ultra-thin wear layer mixture.Through the interlayer shear test and the interlayer pull test determined the optimal amount of tack coat oil.Compared and analyzed the bonding effect of the super bonding wearing layer and Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer.The research results showed that the best amount of tack coat oil when laying super bonding wear layer and Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer are all 0.5kg/m2.The test specimens were prepared with the optimal amount of tack coat oil and tested under the same experimental conditions.The results showed that the specimens with the Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer had higher interlaminar shear strength and interlaminar tensile strength.This means compared with the super bonding wear layer,the overall structure after adding the Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer on the asphalt pavement has a better interlayer bonding effect.Secondly,the anti-fatigue performance and anti-stripping performance of the Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer and super bonding wearing layer were compared and analyzed through the composite beams three point bending fatigue test and the wet rut test.The results showed that:under the same experimental conditions,t the fatigue life times of specimens with Novachip ultrathin wear layer are increased by 18%on overage,the mass of aggregate peeling is reduced by 25%on average.This indicates that Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer has better anti-fatigue performance and anti-stripping performance compared with super bonding wear layer.Finally,the Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer with better inter-layer bonding effect、anti-fatigue performance and anti-stripping performance is applied in practical engineering,and tested the pavement performance of Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer.The test results showed that the pavement performance of the Nova-chip ultrathin wear layer can better meet the requirements of the specification. |
