With the continuous development of knowledge economy and digital era,users’ needs are becoming more and more personalized.The traditional closed innovation method using enterprises’ own resources can not adapt to the dynamic changes of the market and the uncertainty of the environment.In order to deal with the turbulence of the market,more and more enterprises begin to pay attention to obtaining the required innovation resources from the outside of the enterprise.Open innovation has become the "new normal" innovation paradigm of enterprise innovation and development.Information technology with integration and efficiency plays an important role in the process of open innovation.Information technology represented by big data can help enterprises complete the resource supply and demand matching of all operation links,and provide strong engine support for open innovation.Therefore,using the power driven by big data to better realize open innovation undoubtedly points out a feasible innovation direction for current enterprises.However,how to use big data resources to drive open innovation is still a relatively new topic for the academic community.How to use big data in the process of open innovation and what impact the application of big data technology will bring have become a practical problem that enterprises have to face.Therefore,this paper selects Haier,a pioneer enterprise in China’s open innovation practice,as the research object,and uses the single case study method to systematically study and analyze Haier’s open innovation operation process from three stages: resource acquisition,resource transformation and resource iteration,so as to provide a practical basis for the construction of big data-driven open innovation mechanism.Then code and analyze the case data.At the same time,combined with the method of literature analysis,this paper deeply discusses the process of big data driving Haier’s open innovation from the perspective of dynamic capability,and constructs the mechanism model of big data driving open innovation,so as to provide practical thinking for enterprises on how to use big data resources,At the same time,according to the research results of this paper,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on how to use data-driven open innovation for enterprises.The research results show that in different stages of open innovation,Haier releases the driving effect of big data by activating different attributes of data,so as to improve the dynamic ability of enterprises,and finally realize the agility of resource acquisition,the efficiency of resource transformation and the accuracy of resource iteration of open innovation.This study clarifies the positive role of big data driving on open innovation,reveals the mediating role of dynamic capabilities between big data driving and open innovation,and opens the "black box" of the process of big data-driven open innovation.The research provides new management ideas for enterprises’ open innovation in the era of digital economy,and also provides theoretical basis and practical inspiration for enterprises to use big data to develop open innovation. |
