With the rapid economic and social development, our country is facing an increasingly severe problem of population aging.According for 13.26% of the total population.According to the international standard: "A region with people over 60 years old reaches 10% of the total population, which means it is aging."Society",China has now entered the aging stage.According to the National Economic and Social Development Statistical Bulletin 2018,by the end of 2018,the number of people aged 60 and over in the country was 249 million, accounting for 17.9% of the total population.Accounting for 11.9% of the total population. At present, the state advocates the establishment of a social pension model based on home care, community pension as support, and institutional pension as support.Sanmenxia City is known as the "City of Swans" and has an excellent natural ecological environment, suitable for breeding and living. However, there are many problems in the existing elderly care services.Sanmenxia City is a typical "immigrant city".The first and second generations of industrial workers in the city are entering the old age.Superimposed on the impact of the specific population age structure brought about by the one-child policy implemented in 1980,the population aging has increased and become Sanmenxia City. The inevitable trend of future development.According to the household registration population data provided by the local Bureau of Statistics,by the end of 2018,there were about 428,700 elderly people over 60 years old in Sanmenxia City, and the aging rate reached 18.86%,which was an increase of 0.5% from the previous year.Sanmenxia has entered a typical aging process.Society, and is already an area with a high degree of aging. The social problems brought about by aging have become increasingly apparent, and the contradiction between the needs of the elderly in life care, medical health, spiritual culture, etc.and the supply of the old-age services in the current society is prominent. The problems of insufficient total number of elderly care facilities and structural imbalance are gradually exposed. In order to actively respond to the development trend of population aging, solve the contradictions and problems in the construction of the current elderly care service system, provide a safe, equal, and healthy living environment for the elderly, and provide suggestions for the planning and layout of elderly care facilities, this paper selects the downtown area of Sanmenxia, through Visits and surveys to understand the size of the local elderly population, the current status of institutional elderly care facilities, analyze the existing problems of institutional elderly care facilities, and clarify the difference between supply and demand.Based on the prediction of the population size and the elderly population in the central urban area, combined with the local government’s planning and expectations for the elderly care system in 2035,the scale demand for institutional elderly care beds and land demand for a certain period of time in the future are estimated.Combined with the GIS spatial analysis method, analyze and judge the suitability of the current state-ofthe-art elderly care facilities, and point out the problems. And from the perspective of the integration of medical and nursing care, suggestions are made for the future planning of institutional elderly care facilities in Sanmenxia downtown.According to the development status of institutional elderly care facilities in different districts, the retention of land resources, and the future functional development direction, appropriate institutional elderly care facilities planning strategies are proposed.
