Research On The Landscape Micro-renewal Strategy Of Puqi Historical And Cultural District

With the further development of the city,more and more attention has been paid to the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks.At the same time,the conflicts between the protection and restoration,development and management of blocks have become increasingly prominent,which involve urban planning,architecture,landscape and facilities and many other aspects."Micro-renewal" is a design concept that combines the advantages of domestic and foreign frontier theories.It is widely used in the protection planning and architectural renewal of historical and cultural blocks.Therefore,it is imperative to study landscape micro-renewal based on historical and cultural blocks.This article combs the development and evolution of policies,theories and practices for the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks,and expounds the significance of "micro-renewal" as a protection method for historical and cultural blocks in line with China’s national conditions.By drawing lessons from the current theories and methods of protection and micro-renewal,and combining the reality of Puqi’s historical and cultural districts,we proposed a mix and match strategy for respecting history,positioning,repairing and protecting,overall guidance,restricting key points,and controlling the folk style;a micro-circulation strategy for micro-circulation,firefighting,reduction of density,improvement of human settlements,enrichment of culture,and activation of leisure;a point acupuncture strategy based on city gates for clearing sight,freeing space,pocket parks,respecting history,and driving tourism;and a linear triggering strategy for old stone slabs,restoration of pavement,improvement of municipal administration,return of vitality.Combined with strategies,we expounded the planning and design measures and results of the micro-renewal of the landscape of Puqi’s historical and cultural blocks.
