Research On The Landscaping And Their Spatial Form Of The Third Front Construction

The Third Front Construction in the 1960 s was a large-scale industrial construction campaign focusing on national defense and combat readiness based on the severe international environment,and a large number of factories and mines were built in the mountainous areas of the inland.With the relaxation of the international situation and the advent of reform and opening up,the demand for combat readiness has weakened,and it has entered a period of adjustment and transformation.The Third Front Construction factories and mines began to examine the problems they were facing,and the renovation of the factory area to improve the environment was on the agenda.Since then,the Third Front construction landscaping has been on the right track.The research on the Third Front construction landscaping is of great value for both the Third Front construction and modern landscaping research in New China.This paper selects the Third Front construction landscaping space as the research object,based on the development of the Third Front construction and the development of modern landscaping in New China,combined with the research and collection of data,combs and summarizes the Third Front construction landscaping development process,and discusses the factors that promote the development of the Third Front construction landscaping.Using case studies,oral interviews,and research methods of urban morphology and architectural typology,analyze the Third Front construction landscaping space form layer by layer in three levels: at the city level,select typical Third Front construction emerging cities and summarize the spatial layout and morphological characteristics of landscaping spaces;at the settlement level,the analysis is carried out from the four aspects of the factory front area,production area,living area and road,and summarizes the landscaping spatial layout characteristics and typical spatial patterns of each area.At the architectural level,it analyzes the constituent elements of landscaping space,and compares the three aspects of point,line and surface elements with traditional gardening,and explores the characteristics of the Third Front construction landscaping space.Finally,from the perspective of builders and users,further explore the meaning behind the Third Front construction landscaping material space form.By combing and analyzing the development process,spatial form and value meaning of the Third Front construction landscaping,it can be found that the Third Front construction landscaping space emphasizes the creation of a place for employees to interact with each other for leisure and entertainment.As a carrier of beautification and leisure,it is active in the collective with a new spatial model.Not only this commemorative feature and the recording of photos,it has become a place of collective memory for the Third Front construction people.Therefore,the study of the Third Front construction landscaping can not only provide new ideas for the protection and reuse of the Third Front construction industrial remains,but also has enlightenment for the design of modern pocket parks.
