Chinese landscape paintings and classical gardens,which are homologous to the traditional aesthetic sense of landscape,have the same cultural genes and ideological foundation.In the course of thousands of years of development,the two have penetrated and inherited each other,forming an inseparable,complementary and inseparable relationship.relationship.Along with the development of classical gardens,traditional landscape paintings have formed a relatively mature and complete theoretical system earlier.Therefore,gardeners learn from the creative principles and construction techniques in landscape painting theory and apply them to the creative practice of gardens,whether from the outside.The form is still the inner aesthetic thought.Landscape paintings have an extremely important influence on the artistic expression of classical gardens.They have a common value system and aesthetic standards.Chen Congzhou said in "A Catalpa Talking about Beauty","I don’t know the principles of Chinese painting,and there is no way to speak about Chinese gardens." However,ancient garden monographs and classics are relatively scarce,and people’s understanding of classical gardens is only superficial.The modern development of gardens also lacks perfect theoretical guidance.Therefore,understanding classical gardens from the perspective of landscape painting is undoubtedly an orthodox,intuitive and effective method.At present,the academic circles have conducted extensive research on Chinese classical gardens and produced quite fruitful results,but most of them are based on the methodological research of modern architectural space theory,which is different from the aesthetic concept of the ancients.Therefore,it cannot be completely or true.To understand the artistic characteristics of classical gardens,so its research results still have certain limitations.Jiangnan gardens in the Qing Dynasty were an important part of Chinese classical gardens,and they played a vital role in the development of Chinese gardens and even the world’s landscape gardens.Based on the cultural foundation of the same origin of traditional landscape paintings and Jiangnan classical gardens,this article starts from the perspective of landscape painting theory and makes full use of the characteristics of the same thinking and structure of landscape paintings and Chinese classical landscape gardens.Layout and composition,sequence and level,shape and spirit,structure and form,etc.are researched and demonstrated.The theory of landscape painting theory corresponds to the concept of gardening,from "landscape" to "landscape",theoretically The proof and formal summary of the slogan is expected to explore the space art of Jiangnan classical gardens with a more orthodox perspective and a more resonant context for the Chinese people,and to summarize useful enlightenments that can promote the modernization of classical gardens.The transformation of "form(original form)-form-new form" is expected to better inherit and carry forward the aesthetics of Chinese classical garden art and traditional painting theory.
