Analysis On The Evolution And Design Of Guangzhou Bookstore Architect

Bookstore is an important cultural carrier and embodiment of spiritual civilization in a city.In recent years,our country’s new physical bookstores have grown vigorously.Under the circumstance of being greatly suppressed by Internet e-commerce prices,they have explored a diversified business model that emphasizes experience.Among them,a group of representative and exemplary bookstores is known for their good social networking.The environment and cultural atmosphere have become an important cultural landscape and a gathering place for citizens in the city.In this article,they are collectively referred to as the new bookstore.In fact,the emergence of new bookstores in our country has not been smooth sailing.On the one hand,with the rise of the global e-commerce economy,books as standardized industrial products have been impacted by e-commerce prices.On the other hand,due to the long-term commitment of our country’s publishing industry to social responsibility for the orderly supply of books,the price of books is limited,and bookstores that choose books as their main distribution target are facing dual pressures both inside and outside.How to reverse the predicament of our country’s new of bookstore has become one of the topics worthy of research in the transformation of the entity business under the impact of the Internet in recent years,and the improvement of the built environment is an important part of it.In order to solve this problem,I believe that it is necessary to sort out the development process of physical bookstores,explore the content and reasons behind the evolution from the changes in objective material space,and also need to systematically carry out the design elements with subdivision and corresponding research and main points of the existing new bookstores.Which are the research method and content of this paper.Guangzhou has long been one of the most developed cities in our country for commercial operations.New bookstores within the city have grown rapidly in recent years.They are representative of the country in terms of quantity,variety,and development mode.This article attempts to take the bookstore buildings in Guangzhou city as the main object to analyze the development and evolution,design points,and design strategies of new-type bookstores.On the other hand,since the early development of new bookstores was concentrated in Shanghai,Beijing,and other places,this article focuses more on individuality rather than the commonality of the new business in Guangzhou.The introduction of the first chapter mainly focuses on the development status,driving reasons,and future development trends of physical bookstores in our country.It provides an overview of the research background,discusses the necessity of research and the role of architecture in the development of bookstores,and summarizes the current research trends on bookstores at home and abroad clarify the research methods and research framework of this article.The second chapter combines the development history of Chinese bookstores and combs the development history of physical bookstores in Guangzhou as a clue.It discusses in detail the evolution and changing trends of the architectural space of Guangzhou bookstores,fills up this historical gap in research,and reveals the development background and reasons for the change of the new bookstore architectural space.The third and fourth chapters systematically analyze the current situation and design points of the Guangzhou bookstore building during the field investigation,as well as the key points of the landmark bookstore in the functional composition and space design,through the horizontal comparison and synthesis of the bookstore building in the city of Guangzhou Analysis shows that the results have certain representativeness and demonstration value.Chapter 5 combines excellent cases at home and abroad.First,it simply points out the core elements of the success of the new bookstore,discusses the two aspects of cultural attributes and social attributes,and points out how architectural design should be designed in line with this trend,and combined with domestic and foreign excellence cases.It is worth noting that,because the new bookstore is still in rapid growth,its development mode and direction are still in a lot of exploration.This paper mainly focuses on the new-type bookstores with a certain scale,which are often referred to as landmark bookstores in the paper.However,the corresponding community bookstores are relatively small in area and weak in selling books,so this paper mainly discusses the well-developed landmark bookstores among the new-type bookstores in Guangzhou.
