Research On The Design Of Campus Physical Bookstore

With the construction of the university campus,the campus has taken on a new look.As an important position to highlight the characteristics of the campus culture and an important window for foreign exchange,the physical bookstores in Colleges and universities bear the important mission of serving teachers and students.In the process of construction,the campus bookstores are also included in the overall planning of the campus.Compared with the commercial bookstores in the society,the construction and development of physical bookstores in Colleges and universities are facing some problems,such as the change of reading style,the backward environment,the single layout of space function,and the lack of obvious cultural characteristics,which seriously affect the survival and development of physical bookstores in Colleges and universities.This paper discusses the feasibility of building campus bookstore in Jingdezhen Ceramic University by analyzing the campus cultural characteristics,the current situation of surrounding environment and the needs of teachers and students.On the basis of referring to relevant successful cases at home and abroad,this paper closely combines the space function of bookstore with the needs of teachers and students,and combines the architectural appearance and interior design practice of Jingdezhen Ceramic university physical bookstore,This paper designs a multi-functional physical Bookstore scheme which integrates "book sales,reading experience,exhibition,cultural and creative sales,academic exchanges,entertainment and leisure" and other functions.In the process of design,the space atmosphere is set off by reflecting the regional culture and campus characteristics;The function layout should be optimized according to the needs of teachers and students and the needs of campus development;Beautify the building environment with harmony and respect for ecology.The combination of cultural heritage and design innovation adds new vitality to the development of Jingdezhen Ceramic university campus bookstore.
