The construction of urban green space is a remedy for the environmental damage caused by the industrial revolution. Therefore,a large number of research results of modern landscape architecture have confirmed that urban green space has an important impact on the ecological environment. However, some scholars also pay attention to the fact that a beautiful and natural environment also has an important impact on human health. However,so far,the research results on the impact of green space on human health are not rich, and the application of green space in practical projects is relatively insufficient.Especially, the positive effect of green space on the physical and mental health of college students is often ignored in the campus landscape construction, leading to the design of many campus green space in China is just greening treatment. Therefore, the research on the strategies of landscape optimization of university green space under the guidance of restorative environment theory will help to improve the restorative environmental benefits of university green space and improve the physical and mental health of college students. This research takes the green space landscape of colleges and universities in Xi ’an as the research object, takes the restorative environment theory as the foothold, and introduces the eye movement tracking system into the campus landscape design field.Through field research, eye movement analysis, induction and summary, the landscape of university green space in Xi’an is deeply explored, and the research results are as follows:(1)Summarize a large number of research results at home and abroad, analyze the research status of university green space landscape, eye movement experiment, restorative environment and other aspects, and summarize the corresponding concept definition and research progress.(2)Through the investigation and analysis of the green space of colleges and universities in Xi ’an,the author divides five types of green space of colleges and universities in Xi ’an:water space, landscape space, grassland space, gallery space, and underforest space. The investigation and classification of green space of colleges and universities can effectively promote the smooth progress of eye movement experiment.(3)Taking eye tracker as an important research tool, objective eye movement experiments and subjective questionnaire evaluation were carried out on five types of green space, and the following four main conclusions were drawn.First, the landscape preference of college students for different types of green space in colleges and universities is sorted as follows: water space, forest space, landscape pavilion space, gallery space, grassland space;Second, different types of university green space have different preference degree of landscape elements in their own space.Third, women generally rated beauty higher than men,but there was no significant difference in objective eye movement index and recovery evaluation between genders.Fourth, there is a significant positive correlation between the subjective evaluation and the objective eye movement experiment results, that is,the higher the degree of preference shown by the eye movement index, the higher the beauty evaluation, and the better the recovery perception evaluation.(4)Inductive analysis of the experimental results of the whole,xi ’an university green space landscape in restorative environmental improvements method, finally in changan university based landscape change, for example,to the user demand, the thorough investigation of current situation of the landscape space and landscape preference as the starting point of college students, the green space landscape are pointed strong optimization reconstruction.
