Research On Planning Strategy Of Mizhi Cave Ancient City From The Perspective Of Sense Of Place Theory

In recent years,with the continuous integration of cultural heritage and tourism,the coordination of local characteristics protection and tourism development of ancient cities with cultural heritage has become the focus of attention of scholars in various fields.Affected by urban construction,Mizhi Cave Ancient City,as a typical representative of cave dwelling settlements,is being seriously threatened in its spirit of place,and its sense of place is declining.Under the background of global tourism,protection and utilization of cultural heritage,and urban stock planning,diagnosing the local construction of Mizhi cave ancient city,clarifying the main influencing factors of local sense,and taking local construction as the endogenous driving force for the protection and development of ancient city have certain reference significance for protecting the authenticity of cultural heritage and utilizing heritage resources.In this paper,the research method of sense of place theory is applied to the study of cultural heritage ancient cities.By combining fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and qualitative research method,the main influencing dimensions and indicators of sense of place in Mizhi cave ancient city are explored,and the local construction planning strategy is put forward.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on the relevant research of local sense theory at home and abroad,the theoretical system of this paper is constructed,and the dimension of local sense of Mizhi cave ancient city and the necessity and feasibility of this study are clarified.(2)Analyze the overall development status and problems of Mizhi Cave Ancient City,explore the difficulties of local construction,and summarize the enlightenment of local sense theory to its planning strategy research.(3)Identify and analyze the existing and potential objective regional genes of material and immaterial in Mizhi Cave Ancient City,and construct the regional gene set,which lays the foundation for determining the objective layer in the later multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model.(4)Based on the previous research,a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of the local sense of the ancient city of Mizhi Cave is constructed and evaluated;Through the coupling of subjective and objective variables’ correlation and recreation subject’s difference,this paper explores the correlation-perception relationship,determines the primary and secondary impact dimensions,and uses IPA model to explore the extended importance-perception relationship of each index,and determines the priority of improving each index.(5)Based on the analysis results,firstly,the optimization strategies are discussed for the key improvement indicators.Secondly,from the multi-dimensions,this paper puts forward the planning strategies of local construction aiming at the dimensions that affect the sense of place of the recreation people,which provides some enlightenment for the promotion of the sense of place of the ancient city.Through the study,four conclusions are drawn:(1)The sense of place of the ancient city of Mizhi Cave is low,and the sense of place needs to be improved urgently;(2)Through the coupling of correlation and difference,it is found that the main influencing dimensions are architectural space,landscape space,streets and city walls,overall pattern,folk etiquette,social life and recreation satisfaction;Secondary influence dimensions are folk art and local attachment dimensions.(3)The key improvement indicators determined by IPA model are cultural relics protection unit D8,social communication D33,tourism service facilities G11,recreation motivation and expectation G12.(4)Finally,according to the key improvement indicators and the dimensions of primary and secondary influence,this paper puts forward local construction planning strategies,strengthens the sense of place of recreational users,and provides certain reference for other ancient cities.
