Study On The Space Design Of Dementia Aged Care Institutions In Europe And Asia

In the context of the world’s aging population,China’s aging degree is increasingly severe,and its aging population and growth rate rank first in the world.At present,the number of the elderly with dementia in the aging population has also become the largest in the world.However,the research on the care security of the elderly with dementia,the corresponding care mode and care space design in China is still very weak,The discussion on the dementia care system adapted to China’s national conditions is basically in the blank,so the exploration and research are based on the professional field.It is urgent and very important to design a care space for the elderly with dementia in line with China’s national conditions.At present,the relevant researches in China pay more attention to the design of care space for the elderly with dementia under the influence and demand of BPSD.However,the research on the care space demand for the demented elderly with cultural background and living habits has not attracted enough attention,The influence of BPSD and cultural factors can not be neglected.Therefore,this study starts from BPSD and cultural factors,and takes the combination of the two as the core of the study.Based on this core,we can learn from and absorb the successful experience of foreign countries,so as to make a basic research on the design method of care space suitable for the needs of the elderly with dementia in China as soon as possible.Some developed countries in Europe and Asia have had successful experience in long-term research and practice,and have formed relatively mature research and practice.While paying attention to the influence of BPSD,they have formed a care space design method to meet their own needs in combination with their own culture and living habits.In this study,the successful cases and experiences of developed countries in Europe and Asia are taken as the goal,and the successful dementia care mode and space design of elderly care institutions are taken as the research objects.The design methods of dementia care space under the joint effect of BPSD and culture are mainly combed and analyzed,and the design points are summarized in detail,It can provide reference and theoretical support for the next stage of the research on the spatial design method of the elderly with dementia care institutions suitable for our own needs.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is to analyze the social background of aging development,the status quo of care for the elderly with dementia and the urgency and necessity of the corresponding institutions for the aged with dementia,and to clarify the purpose,significance,research content and research framework of the research;The second and third chapters respectively discuss and analyze the successful adaptive dementia care model and the development of the elderly care institutions in Europe and Asia,and select representative success cases to analyze the influence of BPSD and culture,and compare the existing problems with the current situation of China;Chapter four,according to the selected country case study the spatial needs of the elderly with dementia based on BPSD and cultural influence,the principles and key points of the spatial design of the elderly care for the elderly;Chapter five,combined with the existing problems in China,summarizes the enlightenment and preliminary design ideas for the design and practice of the nursing space of the elderly institutions with dementia in China,which lays the foundation for the future research on the strategies and methods of the design of the nursing space for the elderly institutions corresponding to the elderly care.
