With the development of economy,automobile as consumer goods is more and more integrated into the life of the general public,so it also brings more environmental pollution,energy consumption and energy structure changes.Under the dual role of national policy and environmental protection,new energy vehicles have gradually become the choice of more and more people.Compared with the traditional vehicle,the VCU parts of the new energy pure electric vehicle used to replace the engine management system(EMS)also have begun to appear.The research and development of the vehicle controller is a new type of parts.There are complexity,comprehensiveness and uncertainty in the research and development process.The quality of the parts is directly related to the mass production of the whole vehicle.How to improve the quality of the whole vehicle controller will directly affect the final quality of the whole vehicle.Due to the lack of research and development experience of the new parts,the final quality of many domestic vehicle controller suppliers is uneven,which leads to more and more frequent safety problems of new energy vehicles.Based on the case study of the independent R & D project of the new energy vehicle controller of company A,and the in-depth discussion of the failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA)theory,combined with the application of other automobile parts FMEA,aiming at the current situation and existing problems of quality management in new parts R & D project of company A,DFMEA application is designed for the functional design and development of vehicle controller.Starting from the function of vehicle controller,aiming at the potential failure modes one by one,the corresponding potential failure causes are analyzed and Countermeasures for prevention and improvement are proposed.Through the establishment of DFMEA process and the implementation of preventive measures,the practical verification shows that the DFMEA application can effectively improve the quality of the vehicle controller,reduce the extra cost incurred in the development process,improve the safety performance of the vehicle,provide a platform DFMEA database for other vehicles on the same platform,and also provide a reference for other independent research and development projects of new energy vehicles.
