| Under the guidance of the people-oriented trend of thought,in line with the original intention of improving the lives of residents and enhancing the happiness of the people,the macro-level urban development and the meso-level community construction are constantly moving closer to livability.At the same time,the improvement of economic conditions has attracted the attention of community residents.From basic habitat needs to high-level needs for community culture,environment,etc.,the dual role of development requirements and practical needs makes urban communities build in a livable direction.The old community is a special existence in the community,and the residents living in it also have a yearning for a suitable living environment.However,due to the imperfect facilities,environment and management structure of the old community,it cannot meet the diverse living needs of the residents in the new era.The renewal of the livability of the community is imminent.Therefore,from the perspective of livability evaluation,this article explores the direction of the livability development of old communities,and evaluates the livability of old communities through the constructed evaluation index system,and proposes targeted renewal and transformation strategies.Research on the following aspects:First,combined with relevant domestic and foreign research,summarize the current evaluation system of old communities and livable communities,and understand the research trends at home and abroad.Guided by theoretical basis such as urban renewal theory,establish an evaluation index system for the livability of old communities that includes subjective and objective evaluation factors,and build a set of procedures and evaluation systems suitable for the livability evaluation of old communities.Then use the analytic hierarchy process to determine the index weights in the system,conduct a case study on the Suoyi Community and Bei’anmen Community in Xuanwu District,Nanjing City,and conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the livability of these two typical old communities through the constructed evaluation system.Carry out data collation and comparison,analyze the current situation of the construction of old communities from the perspective of the construction of the system,and summarize the common problems existing in the construction of old communities in the city.Finally,in order to enhance the residents’ living experience and improve the status of old communities,the strategy of renewal and transformation of old communities in compliance with the trend of urban high-quality development is proposed from the following aspects: optimization and upgrading of community space,improvement of community environment,and improvement of community safety system,the acceleration of the construction of community civilization and the improvement of the living standards of community residents provide scientific and clear directions and methods for the livability transformation of old communities,and provide other old communities in Nanjing and other cities of the same type.Provide strategic suggestions for the renovation and transformation of old communities. |
