| With the continuous expansion of the city and the upgrading of environmental quality,industrial plants are facing the situation of demolishing with rebuilding or protecting with renewing after completing their historical mission.At the same time,with the rise of cultural industries,the transformation of industrial areas into creative industrial blocks has become a good practice for implementing the concept of sustainable development and continuing the urban context.More and more second-tier cities and nontraditional industrial cities have gradually carried out industrial relics’ transformation attempts.On the basis of the transformation based on the protection of structure and style,it is of great significance to analyze the external space of industrial relics transformation creative blocks in order to enhance the vitality.This research summarizes and analyzes the past research and excellent cases of industrial remains and creative cultural districts;investigates the use of existing industrial transformation projects in Hefei,and divides the transformation types into four categories:community service,catering business,real estate development and creative culture industry,and discuss the experience learned in various transformations.The representative industrial relics transformation creative blocks of Hefei,"Changjiang 180" and "He Chai 1972" are selected as the research objects and introduced in detail.First,the behavior statistics of seven types of different functional spaces and graphical expressions are performed,and the relationship between the space and the user’s behavior frequency,object attributes,and time changes in each area is summarized.Through the relationship between behavior and space elements,the eight main elements that make up the external space are summarized: text and advertisements,water green plants,building entrances,characteristic building facades,public art,industrial components,resting places and service facilities.Secondly,conduct eye-tracking experiments on different types of spaces in this two blocks,analyze the changes in pupil size,and find that the attractiveness of the space to people is significantly related to the richness of elements;analyze the gaze heat map and gaze indicators to obtain the user’s preference for gazing at constituent elements,identified text and advertisements,public art and industrial components as the key elements to enhance the visual quality of the external spaces.On this basis,the gaze index and the four types of factors that may affect gaze behavior are analyzed and found that the unit pixel gaze time is the main influencing factor in this type of space.Finally,the same samples in the eye-tracking experiment are analyzed by SD questionnaire.According to the spatial atmosphere,the external spaces are divided into five categories: traditional and interesting space,novel and fashionable space,comfortable and open space,serious and closed space,and monotonous and boring space.After factor analysis,three types of main influencing factors are extracted: spatial atmosphere,spatial form and cultural perception factors.According to the scores of each sample on each factor axis,the gaze heat map and behavior observation results are compared and analyzed,and specific strategies for optimizing the external space environment are obtained.This article combines behavior observation,eye movement experiment,and SD evaluation method to explore the relationship between spatial composition and environmental behavior,visual behavior,and psychological behavior.It has certain theoretical and practical innovation.This research is conducive to promoting the overall style and appearance of cultural and creative blocks of industrial relics transformation,and refining the reasonable arrangement of structural elements in the space.It is expected to provide a reference for the improvement of the external space quality of industrial relics transformation blocks in Hefei City and the renewal and industrial transformation of nontraditional industrial cities. |
