Landscape Design Of Industrial Relics In Modern Urban Space

This paper conducts trimming researches based on problems of industrial relics site landscape in modern urban development of Hangzhou.Guided by the three-position theory,this paper researches and designs the renovation project of industrial relics site landscape of Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works Banshan Base(M Block).This paper adopts reasonable design methods to protect and adjust industrial relics site landscape.Moreover,this paper updates and designs the industrial cultural elements and construction landscape space carrier in the relics protection block;this paper finishes the project assignment which has regional culture of Hangzhou,protection of characteristic industrial relics and transition design.Investigation report is required.Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works is a heavy industrial base which was founded in 1957,as well as the eldest son of industries in the republic.Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works makes great contributions to the development of iron and steel industry in Zhejiang province and even across the whole nation.With the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries,Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works is confronted with the problem of integral moving and in-situ reformation.However,in scenic Hangzhou city,Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works is the most important industrial relics site landscape in Hangzhou City,as well as the spiritual home and sustenance of“people in Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works” of two generations.In terms of the planning and reconstruction scheme of the north block of Hangzhou city in 2015,Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works was included in “Atmospheric Pollution Regulation Program of Hangzhou Government” and the relocation and transformation directory of “Post-G20Era”.As such,the transformation and reuse of industrial relics site of Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works is highly anticipated.Designers in China,Europe and America,intervene the transformation and reuse.Compared with developed countries in Europe and America,the research on the protective reuse of industrial relics in China comparatively lags behind.In this connection,I conduct investigation and design based on the needs of relics landscape reconstruction design project of M Block of Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works.The conclusions of the chapter are concluded:(1)industrial relics has the value of cultural relics;the landscape transformation of industrial relics is the needs of urban renewal and urban sustainable development;(2)the environment renovation and transformation of Banshan Industrial Base of Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works are the urgent needs of the planning and development of Hangzhou city.Documents research report is as follows.This paper inspects teases and makes a comparison analysis of theory and practice which are applied in industrial relics landscape transformation at home and abroad.The following conclusions are come out: the transformation of the industrial relics site of Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works(M Block)is applicable to the organically-related design theory of “ecology”,“art” and “historical context ".This paper controls the concept and methods of “system”.Project design should focus on “public participation" mechanism to obtain more comprehensive landscape culture and leisure and recreation information.That is how to address the existing problems of environment renovation,block planning,buildings and structures transformation and human element promotion in renovation.The practice report in the design process is as follows.On the basis of arranging the above-mentioned theory,this paper proposes specific methods of transformation of industrial relics site landscape reconstruction.This paper preliminarily makes constructions based on the specific design case of industrial relics site landscape transformation of Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works(M Block)from the macro level and micro level.The macro level mainly aims at the relics site preservation and renewal and the landscape ecology restoration in the site of Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works(M Block);the micro level mainly aims at the renewal and utilization,architectural surface,surface traces,industrial construction trails,artistic treatments of public facilities and industrial waste as well as other comprehensive aspects of old industrial buildings(structures)in the site.At last,this paper adopts some comprehensive renovation methods to make renovated Hangzhou Steel and Iron Works(M Block)continue the local “heavy industry base context".This paper regains industrial memories and connects regional culture of Hangzhou in parallel,becoming the new landscape gathering place of the north Hangzhou,which has positive demonstration significances for the sustainable development of the future industrial relics site landscape of Hangzhou city.
