Research On The Application Of Auspicious Patterns Of Lattice Windows In Suzhou Garden In The Design Of Cultural And Creative Products

As an important part of traditional Chinese culture,auspicious culture has formed a distinct system of auspicious culture,such as blessing,fortune,longevity,happiness and wealth,which embodies profound traditional etiquette and customs,social values and ethical values.As an important link between nature and humanity,lattice window contains the Confucian philosophy of "harmony between man and nature" and social emotion.Most of the auspicious patterns in the lattice windows of Suzhou gardens are drawn from social life and natural scenery,reflecting social culture,ethical principles and special artistic aesthetics in a certain sense.The lattice window patterns in Suzhou gardens have a variety of themes,including animals,plants,symbols of utensils and so on.The communication of auspicious meaning is mainly to realize the connection between image and social ideal by means of symbolism,analogy and homophony.Therefore,lattice windows can not only produce a unique aesthetic effect,but also reflect the social education value of art.Based on the field investigation and systematic sorting of lattice windows in Suzhou gardens,this paper fully excavates the cultural connotation and artistic characteristics of the auspicious patterns in lattice windows,selects the theme patterns close to the daily life of the public,and analyzes and re-designs the modeling structure of the patterns.By using the disciplinary theory and technical means of visual communication design,new ideas,new forms and new technologies are integrated to design and apply relevant cultural creative products,so as to publicize and emphasize the cultural value of lattice windows in modern social life.
