Research On The Evolution Mechanism Of The Spatial Form Of Ethnic Settlements

As a part of traditional rural settlements,ethnic settlements record the regional characteristics,ethnic culture and the trajectory of their social evolution in ethnic minority areas,and have important historical research value.The "Three Parallel Rivers" section of the Lancang River Basin is located at the junction of the three provinces of Sichuan,Yunnan,and Tibet in northwestern Yunnan.It is the border layer of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor,and its ethnic settlements have diverse and complex regional characteristics.The thesis conducts a detailed investigation and research on the spatial evolution and environmental mechanism of ethnic settlements in the "Three Parallel Rivers" section of the Lancang River Basin,established a technical route framework of "Traditional Form Evolution Analysis―Multivariate Coupling Analysis―Environmental Construction Interactive Mechanism―Transformation and Reconstruction";specifically adopted the layered analysis of the settlement space,and divided the settlement space into three levels: the whole,the exterior and the building unit;established a multi-factor coupling mechanism analysis to analyze the evolution mechanism of the spatial form of ethnic settlements from the interaction and influence of the four influencing factors of nature,economy,society and humanities,and political policies.The development process of ethnic settlements is divided into four stages: the initial stage of settlement,the period of integration and assimilation,the stagnant period,and the new development period,analyze the evolution trajectory and evolution characteristics of ethnic settlements,and systematically reveal the main interaction mechanism of the "environment-construction" interaction of the history,ecology,livelihood production and spatial interaction of ethnic settlements in the region.It is expected to help solve the problems of blindly extending settlement boundaries,disordered structural texture,imbalanced scale of street space,and the unified new-style houses during the evolution of local ethnic settlements,and explore ways of inheriting and sustainable development of the characteristics of ethnic settlements.
