| Ankang City is located to the south of the Qinling Mountains,in the southernmost part of Shaanxi Province.From a location perspective,Ankang is an area where Hui people gather in Shaanxi.It is a necessary place for the spread of Islam on land and water.In the development process of Ankang Hui people,because they have been in the Chinese language environment for a long time,they are deeply infiltrated by Confucian ideology and culture in the mainland,and under the collision of multiple cultures,the architectural characteristics of Ankang Mosque gradually evolved with distinctive regional characteristics.With the rapid advancement of urbanization nowadays leading to the continuous decline of traditional buildings,and in the case of relatively weak research on the architecture of Ankang Mosques,summarizing the architectural characteristics of Ankang mosques is of positive significance for the future development of local mosques.Nowadays,the Hui and Han cultures are highly integrated.In the research process,this article adheres to the historical and religious principles,consults relevant materials in conjunction with relevant documents,and conducts in-depth research and analysis on the mosque architecture in Ankang area through field investigations and other methods.And further explore the regionality of mosques in Ankang area through comparative analysis.This article first summarizes the origin and development of the Hui people in Ankang area,further explores the development history of mosques in Ankang area,deeply understands the characteristics of mosques in Ankang area,and summarizes the background and evolution mode of the formation of mosques in Ankang area.In the research process of this article,a comprehensive analysis of the layout system of the mosque in Ankang and the characteristics of the individual buildings were carried out,including the basic characteristics of the worship building,the Bunker building,and the temple gate in detail.Through field investigation,this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the characteristics and space characteristics of the mosque building.Furthermore,combining the three angles of the macro-level mosque and the block space,the mesolevel mosque’s architectural characteristics,and the micro-level mosque’s decorative art,a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the mosques in the Ankang area is developed.Finally,based on the perspective of architectural characteristics,it compares and analyzes the two representative mosques in Guanzhong and Hanzhong areas to refine the regionality of the mosques in Ankang. |
