Research On Enhancing The Vitality Of Public Space In National Traditional Villages In Heyang County

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,with the rapid advancement of urbanization and industrialization,the closed state of traditional villages has been gradually broken.The construction of their public space has gone through three stages:planned economy period(1949-1978),economic transformation period(1978-2005),and new countryside construction period(2005-present).During this period,it has been damaged and transformed.So far,there has been a phenomenon of space decline and loss of vitality,and there is a trend of gradual aggravation.Therefore,based on the problems of space decay and deactivation faced by traditional village public space,how to endow it with vitality and make it full of vitality is of great research significance and value for the inheritance of traditional village culture,the development and construction of village and the life of villagers.Based on this,based on the research of place theory,space vitality field and other theories,this article takes the public space of national traditional villages in Heyang County as the research object,and analyzes the distribution of public space,the status quo and the existing problems of public space vitality.It analyzes the cause of the problem of space vitality,and finally proposes corresponding vitality improvement strategies to inject vitality into the space,make it full of vitality,and meet the diverse needs of people in the new era,so as to better protect and inherit the history and culture of traditional villages.Firstly,this paper makes a basic analysis and research on state-level traditional villages in Heyang County,including three aspects: First,it analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of seven state-level traditional villages in village distribution,morphological characteristics,road traffic,population,economy,land use,classification of public space and public activities;The second is to take Donggong Cheng Village as an example to analyze the four development stages of public space and summarize the current characteristics and construction problems;The third is to analyze and summarize the distribution of public space from three aspects: point,line and plane.Then,the PSPL survey method is introduced to investigate and analyze the current use of public space,and on the basis of this method,combined with place theory and space vitality field theory to construct a public space vitality index system from two levels of use subject and public space characteristics.Evaluate the vitality of the space,analyze and summarize the reasons for the lack of vitality of the current public space.Finally,on the basis of the opportunity of traditional village protection and development and the traditional village protection and development system of "One Belt,Three Areas and Multiple Nodes",the author puts forward the energy strategies from two aspects of the subject of use and the space place in view of the reasons for the lack of space vitality.The strategies of the subject of use include:(1)Enriching the subject of use of space;(2)Reshaping the family tradition and family motto in the new era,cultivating the villagers’ village,family consciousness and concept;(3)Organization and planning of public activities.Spatial activation strategies include:(1)Adding "field core",extracting and exploiting public space with potential;(2)To enhance the "field power",to create a diverse type of public space,multiple functions;(3)Improve the "software and hardware",improve the quality of the public space environment;(4)Design "markers" to provide a place space with high identification.
