Objective: The prevention and control of COVID-19 in China has achieved phased success,But it’s not over yet,Prevention and control of the epidemic has become routine,To cut off and reduce the transmission of the virus,It needs to be designed,Improvement of existing public facilities,Realize blocking the indirect contact of public facilities.Methods: By expounding the origin and development status of contact blocking design,It is analyzed and summarized,Secondly,it analyzes the existing problems and design demands of urban public facilities and summarizes them.To analyze and improve urban public facilities under the background of COVID-19,Indepth functional analysis,appearance form analysis,color and ergonomic analysis of the rationality of public facilities,To provide quality design solutions for the improvement of urban public facilities.Conclusion: The design method of public facilities with contact blocking as the purpose is summarized to block the viral infection caused by people’s indirect contact with public facilities,and lay the foundation for fighting against COVID-19 epidemic and preventing public health emergencies in the future,so as to protect people’s life and health safety.
