Abstract/Summary:
The waterfront area of Chongqing is an important public space in the city.The waterfront area in the post-industrial era has been re-developed as the core area of urban public activities.Rail transit links the hinterland and the waterfront area of the city and forms a new accumulation element.On this basis,the walking-led travel mode has become an important link between rail transit and other traffic,and it bears the basic needs of citizens for daily travel.As a station type different from other locations in the city,the waterfront rail transit station has a more complicated walking environment and behavioral subjects.In contrast to the current domestic situation,there are many problems in the physical space environment and pedestrian needs of the rail transit station area in the waterfront area,and the walkability problem of the station area needs to be solved urgently.To improve walkability,we must first find the crux of the problem.Therefore,a scientific evaluation system is established to find the weak links in the improvement of the walkability of the station area from the scientific evaluation,so as to systematically improve the walkability of the station area space,which becomes the starting point of this paper..Focusing on the above issues,this article takes the rail transit station area of Chongqing waterfront area as the research object,grasps the three research objectives of "waterfront rail transit station area","walkability" and "comprehensive evaluation",and constructs the Chongqing waterfront area.The walkability evaluation system of the rail transit station area,and provides corresponding design optimization strategies around the walkability of the rail transit station area in the waterfront area.The research follows the research idea of "background research-basic problem research-evaluation system construction-research object type induction-evaluation system application-design optimization strategy",and develops thesis writing from the following six aspects:1)Background research:Discussed the necessity of research on walkability of rail transit station area under the background of the rejuvenation of Chongqing’s waterfront area.The research theme of this article is put forward-the investigation and study on walkability of rail transit station area in Chongqing waterfront.On this basis,the concepts of rail transit station area and walkability in the waterfront area were expounded and defined,and the research methods of theoretical research,data analysis,and empirical investigation were determined,and finally the research framework of this article was drawn up.2)Basic research:Contains three parts: theoretical foundation,problem characteristics,and case analysis.It mainly analyzes the pedestrian environment-behavior-subject characteristics of the rail transit station area,and summarizes the three basic methods of current walkability evaluation.Secondly,it summarizes the main problems and characteristics of the walkability of the rail transit station area in Chongqing’s waterfront area.Analyzed the excellent cases of the development of pedestrian space in the rail transit station area at home and abroad,and finally put forward a research gap on the walkability of the rail transit station area in Chongqing’s waterfront area.3)Construction of the evaluation system:Establish the corresponding evaluation dimensions and preliminary index evaluation set by combing through the existing index literature at home and abroad.After that,through the questionnaires of experts and users,the indicators were screened and revised,and the indicator system of the waterfront rail transit station area including the dimension layer,the criterion layer and the indicator layer was obtained.And on this basis,the AHP analytic hierarchy process is used to assign weights,and the indicators are graded and assigned,and a walkability evaluation model based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is established.4)Type summary:This chapter conducts an exploratory survey of rail transit stations in the Chongqing waterfront area,summarizes the development of Chongqing rail transit,and summarizes the basic types of rail transit stations in the waterfront area in a hierarchical and clustered manner.,And explained its basic characteristics,and at the same time screened and determined typical sites for empirical research and evaluation.5)Evaluation system application:Choose three typical waterfront sites: Xiaoshizi,Jiangbeicheng,and Liziba,and conduct evaluation empirical research.Use questionnaire interviews,auditors collection,field surveys and other methods to obtain quantitative data of indicators,and on this basis,use the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to summarize the criteria-level single-factor fuzzy evaluation results and the dimension-level multi-index comprehensive evaluation results,and finally three A comprehensive score of the walkability of the station,and a summary of the main problems and contradictions in the walkability of the rail transit station area.6)Design optimization strategy:Target principle guidance and design optimization strategy——Based on the previous survey results and problem analysis,the design goals and optimization measures for the Chongqing waterfront rail transit station area have been established,from macro-perspective to micro-perspective,the design methods and strategies for improving the walkability of the rail transit station area in the waterfront area are proposed.
