Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of urban rail transit in China,people gradually realize its huge advantages in alleviating traffic congestion and integrating urban resources due to its characteristics of fast speed and large traffic volume,which leads to high-intensity development around stations.Urban function is highly concentrated in a small area,so that "rail transit + walking" mode of travel in the motor vehicle dominated urban traffic pattern,gradually rise.At the same time,for coastal cities with coastal development,highquality coastal urban space has always been regarded as key construction areas with more advanced development time sequence and more complete development degree,and superimposed with advantageous Marine landscape resources,naturally attracting a large number of people and activities.Based on this,after the station is implanted into the coastal urban space,the influence domain of the coastal rail transit station,a special urban space,bears a highly complicated walking system because of the overlapping influence of the two on the strong siphon effect of pedestrians.However,at present,most urban space planning and design are dominated by motor vehicles,which leads to the particularly sharp contradiction between people and vehicles in this area,which is specifically manifested as the fragmentation of walking space,the reduction of walking accessibility,the hidden danger of walking safety and the lack of walking comfort,etc.These problems have the characteristics of systematization from the inside,and there are logical relations of mutual influence between them.From the outside,the characteristics of growth will become more and more serious with the construction of urban rail transit lines and the improvement of urban development intensity.The causes are essentially the contradiction between the inherent urban space design idea and people’s new travel mode and lifestyle,and the contradiction between the design perspective and the life perspective in the use of coastal urban space.In general,the existence of these problems will hurt people’s willingness to travel by rail and on foot,and reduce the attractiveness and vitality of coastal urban space.Therefore,based on the people-oriented idea,this paper analyzes the current situation of the walking system in the influence area of Qingdao Binhai site and puts forward the planning and design strategy by combining the use needs of walkers and the connotation characteristics of the walking system.There are six chapters in this paper,which are summarized from the following three parts:Part one(chapter 1 and 2): the establishment of research framework and related theoretical research.Firstly,the purpose and significance of the research are clarified based on the research background,and the research object and related concepts are defined,the research scope is clarified,and the ideas and framework of asking questions,analyzing problems and solving problems are set up.Secondly,the basic theoretical framework is formed by combing relevant research status at home and abroad and integrating TOD theory,urban catalyst theory,pedestrian space design theory,PSPL method and other basic theories.The connotation of the three elements of the walking system is further summarized and the new characteristics of the walking system in the influence area of coastal rail transit stations are proposed.This part provides the theoretical basis for this paper.The second part(chapter 3 and 4): investigation and analysis of current situation and influence mechanism.Firstly,a comprehensive survey was carried out on three typical samples based on the three components of the walking system and PSPL survey method.The specific survey was carried out from the perspectives of spatial environment,behavioral activities and subject cognition.Secondly,based on the investigation results of the current situation,with walking subjects(people)as the core,the current problems are summarized from four aspects of continuity,safety,accessibility and comfort derived from the demand level,and the causes of the problems are deeply analyzed from the macro to micro levels.The third part(chapter 5 and 6): put forward the planning and design strategy and summary of the paper.First clarify planning strategy goals and principles,and aims at Qingdao binhai rail transit site domain of influence on the influence mechanism of the pedestrian system existing problem behind systematic planning and design strategies,namely the macro level is put forward and coastal city spatial structure of rail transit integration,medium level domain walking system integration design,the influence of coastal sites proposed At the micro level,three planning and design strategies are proposed to humanize the pedestrian environment in the influence area of coastal stations.
