Research On The Space Suitability Characteristics Of Community Parks Supporting Neighbors’ Collective Activities

Health research is an eternal theme for all mankind,and social health is a key part of population health.However,with the development of rapid urbanization,the social ties that were originally based on "geographical connections" and "industrial connections" have become more and more slack.Nowadays,neighborhoods are indifferent,street-neighbor relationships are shrinking,and neighborhood disputes and conflicts are on the rise.If they are not controlled,serious social problems,namely "social health" problems will arise.In the field of architectural planning,constructing a high-quality spatial environment that promotes communication between neighbors is expected to solve this problem,which is also an important scientific problem for urban and rural planning and landscape architecture.This article takes community parks as the research object,takes collective activities that trigger neighborhood interactions as the starting point,and combines the research of environment and behavior related theories("how the environment affects collective activities"),and points out the nature of social health problems from the perspective of spatial planning and planning The necessity and feasibility of interfering with the collective activities of the neighborhood.Relying on the sorting out of the literature and the investigation and research of nine community parks in the main urban area of ??Chongqing,this article explores the environmental characteristics of community parks suitable for community activities in the neighborhood.The research content can be summarized as the following aspects:First,determine the two-level evaluation basis for the spatial suitability of the community park:(1)The crowd’s overall suitability evaluation of the space,which reflects whether people enter the space autonomously;(2)The different suitable characteristics of the activity network,which reflects whether the space supports the interaction between neighbors.It is pointed out that the prerequisite for studying the difference of collective activity network is to satisfy the overall suitability of the space.Secondly,on the basis of making full use of the existing achievements,the relevant indicators of the environmental characteristics of the community parks and the collective activities of the neighborhood were respectively clarified.(1)Combining the relevant theories of environment and behavior,starting from the motives,perceptions and obstacles of collective activities in the neighborhood,determine the spatial suitability demand factors that meet the collective activities of the neighborhood:functional suitability factors that support the motivations of the group activities of the crowd,and those that attract the group activities of the crowd Environmental suitability factors,management suitability factors that reduce obstacles to collective activities of the crowd,combined with a large amount of literature and expert consultation,construct a community park environmental suitability evaluation factor describing the collective activities of the neighborhood.(2)Combining social network theory,determine the evaluation factors and evaluation indicators of the collective activity network: network completeness factor(network density),network cohesion factor(degree centrality)and network subgroup factor(faction).Then,this paper takes 87 spaces in 9 community parks in the main urban area of Chongqing as the research object,obtains environmental characteristic evaluation factor data through field surveys,questionnaire surveys,etc.,and obtains network relationship data of neighborhood collective activities through the SOPARC method.On this basis,a preliminary evaluation of the overall suitability of each unit space is carried out,and unit space samples with high overall suitability are screened out,and the community park unit spaces are divided into three categories according to environmental factors and spatial feelings: ecological activities Space,venue-type event space and facility-type event space.Then through SPSS simple correlation analysis,canonical correlation analysis and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis,the key suitability evaluation criteria and key environmental characteristic factors of the three types of unit spaces are obtained,and the collective activity network and spatial characteristics of the typical unit spaces are obtained.Qualitative analysis to explain its internal relationship:Ecological activity space: Its environmental characteristics mainly affect the in-depth communication-type collective activities of relatives and friends.The spatial privacy influenced by landscape vegetation,sufficient landscape greenery coverage and rich landscape colors can effectively promote the in-depth interaction of relatives and friends in collective activities.Venue-type activity space: Its environmental characteristics mainly affect group gathering and interactive collective activities.Among them,clean and sanitary activity venues,open hard pavement squares and prominent local characteristics can effectively promote group gathering and interactive collective activities.Facility type activity space: its environmental characteristics mainly affect the community’s "weak connection" type group activities,including interesting children’s game facilities,complete and comfortable rest facilities,safe environmental management,significant local cultural characteristics and better space openness Effectively promote the community’s daily "weak ties" collective activities.
