Study On The Evaluation Of Space Security Of Children’s Activities In Community Parks

Children are the future of a city and a country.The healthy growth of children marks the healthy growth of a city.The safety of children is the cornerstone of the healthy growth of children.Outdoor activities are a key part of children’s growth.The safety of outdoor activities of children has become a hot topic all over the world.With the rapid development of globalization and urbanization,it is more and more difficult for cities to provide a safe and free outdoor activity space for children,and the amount of children’s outdoor activities decreases year by year.Safety problem has become a major obstacle to children’s outdoor activities.As an important part of community life,community parks is one of the most important outdoor activities for children.The community parks serves the residents of a certain area and has unique advantages in providing safe activity space and organizing children’s activities.Based on this,this paper starts from children’s outdoor activities and settles down in the community park to explore how the community parks can provide children with a safety outdoor activity space to ensure their healthy growth.Based on the children aged between 3 and 12 years as the research object,the community parks in Chong Qing children’s outdoor activities,safety and accident occurrence has carried on the detailed analysis and research to build a community parks security evaluation system,and select four community parks,according to the research conclusion put forward the strategies to promote the safety of community parks.The main research conclusions are as follows:Children in the community park activities of the main safety problems: the unsafe behavior of children,unsafe use of the community park,supervision and management defects.The unsafe use state of the community parks include the unsafe access area of the community park,the unsafe slope area with a large elevation,and the unsafe area where children are concentrated.What happen most often in community parks are traffic accident injury,activity accident injury and crime encroachment injury.According to the theoretical research foundation to build community parks children safety evaluation index system,,selection two newly built community sports culture park,traditional community park of Chong Qing to make the comparison research,the research conclusion: community park entrance area traffic environment security is generally not high,the activities of the newly built community parks site security than traditional community parks.The social supervision safety of traditional park is higher than that of newly-built community parks.Finally,the paper proposes the measures to improve the safety of children’s activities in community parks from three aspects: children’s safety education,community park safety design,safety management and supervision.
