In early 2020,COVID-19 COVID-epidemic swept through the world, the global within the scope of the urban construction and safety health and put forward a huge challenge,at the same time urban stock update concerns are also quietly changing,so the urban stock reform of traditional design strategy needs to upgrade and update,it must be a more rational and diversified design strategy, especially in the present era of after the outbreak. The epidemic has exposed various problems in urban construction and social governance. As a basic component of urban construction and a carrier of basic units of social governance, communities play a key role in the prevention and control of the epidemic. This epidemic has pushed communities to the front line of the fight against the epidemic and become the key to the success or failure of the fight against the epidemic. However,we have to face up to the existence of old communities and a series of comprehensive problems brought about by their long history, which have also become the key difficulties and pain points of epidemic prevention and control. The outbreak era urban stock update reflection in the "disease",after the "disease" pay more attention to the issues of residential environment, but if considering all aspects of the old community updates, will certainly interest subject not clear, funding shortages,so the "transformation" was adopted to realize more accurate, precise, shrewd acupuncture type transformation.During the epidemic period, the environment outside the community is the only place where residents isolated at home can exercise and relax properly, get close to nature and relieve anxiety. Therefore, the micro-transformation of the environment outside the old community has become one of the important contents of urban renewal in the post-epidemic era. This paper follows the research route of "raising problems--basic research--analyzing problems--solving problems--case verification".Based on literature review and theoretical research, and guided by community epidemic prevention and control, elements of the community environment related to epidemic prevention and control were extracted.Through field investigation and problem summary of several key old communities for epidemic prevention and control in Chongqing, this paper tries to explore the optimization method of micro-transformation of the external environment of old communities in the post-epidemic era from two different aspects of space and service.Paper first analyzes the influence of epidemic for urban renewal and communities exposed problems in epidemic prevention and control, review for public health emergencies prevention and control measures at home and abroad, analyses the process of community epidemic prevention and control, from the Angle of space and services related to epidemic prevention and control of strong external environment factor extraction and classification; Then, the paper discusses the current situation of the old communities in Chongqing and the scope of the old communities in this study.Through field investigation, the paper summarizes the reconstruction problems of the old communities during the epidemic period, analyzes the deep-rooted causes of the problems, and puts forward the goal of micro-reconstruction of the old communities in the post-epidemic era. Then, from the perspective of space environment and service environment, the explicit and implicit micro-transformation strategies of the old communities in the post-epidemic era were put forward. Finally, the paper takes Nanguan Community,Biquan Street,Bishan District,Chongqing as an example to carry out design practice and reflection on the results of the micro-transformation strategy of the old community’s external environment in the post-epidemic era.
