In recent years,high-speed urbanization has led to a series of rural development problems such as "hollowing","decentralization",and "dangerous old age" in villages and towns.With the deepening of the rural revitalization strategy,the concept of green and livable development came into being.However,at present,there has not yet been established an evaluation index system for green and livable villages and towns that can be used for operation and reference.In addition,in our country’s existing village and town evaluation system research,the evaluation indicators are mostly qualitative,and the cost of obtaining indicator data is high and the cycle is long.With the promotion of digital technology in the construction of villages and towns,new propositions and reflections have been provided for the development of evaluation research work in villages and towns.Based on this,this article takes Suining County in northern Jiangsu as the research object,and proposes the following research questions from the perspective of space construction: Question one,which evaluation indicators should be selected to construct an evaluation system for green and livable villages and towns? Question two,how to use spatial information collection technology to obtain evaluation indicators? Question three,how to conduct evaluation research on green and livable villages and towns?(1)Use literature and field research methods to answer question one.The research shows that most of the space in the villages and towns in northern Jiangsu is“decentralized”,and the national development policy is actively guiding the development of the agglomeration of villages and towns.By focusing on typical cases of village and town construction in Suining County,it analyzes the dominant characteristics of “compact space” and “convenient facilities”.The construction model conforms to the concept of green and livable development.Then,by referring to the evaluation research on "space compactness" and "facilities" in urban areas,and combining with the actual development of villages and towns,two primary evaluation index elements,9 second-level evaluation index elements and 27third-level evaluation index elements.(2)Use remote sensing image processing,spatial analysis and landscape index research methods to answer question two.Research shows that the digital construction of the evaluation system of green and livable villages and towns has been completed by introducing remote sensing data,POI data,and population and economic spatial data,and using remote sensing technology and POI(point of interest)crawling technology.Taking Suining County as an example,the application was implemented.With the help of software such as ENVI,GIS,Fragstats,Python,etc.,the original data was digitally translated,and finally the evaluation index data of green and livable villages and towns in Suining County were obtained.(3)Use comprehensive evaluation and cluster analysis to answer question three.The green and livable villages and towns in Suining County are evaluated and studied by the entropy weight-TPOSIS comprehensive evaluation method.The evaluation results show that: Shaji Town has the highest score of 0.380 in spatial compactness,and Lanshan Town has the lowest score of 0.152.Gaozuo Town had the highest score for facility convenience at 0.189,and Yaoji Town had the lowest score at 0.012.Shaji Town has the highest score for green livability at 0.233,and Lanshan Town has the lowest score at 0.076.Evaluation and analysis show that at the county scale,the spatial compactness presents the characteristics of an "X"-shaped spatial pattern that decreases from the middle to the surroundings,and the facility convenience presents the right-shaped "human" spatial pattern.Based on this,the space optimization design is carried out from the two aspects of space zoning guidance and village classification layout,in order to improve the compactness and facility convenience of the villages and towns in Suining County,and then provide scientific guidance for the construction of green and livable villages and towns in the area.Provide reference and reference for the construction of villages and towns in other regions.
