Studies On The Evaluation System And Strategies Of Industrial Heritage Corridor’s Construction Of The Grand Canal Hangzhou

The Grand Canal is not only a miracle of world engineering,but also one of the most representative world cultural heritages in China.The development of Hangzhou is closely related to the Grand Canal.Now the Gongshu section of Hangzhou Grand Canal has become an industrial gathering area with its geographical advantages since modern times.In the second half of the 20 th century,due to the serious industrial pollution of the canal and the adjustment of industrial structure brought by the development of Hangzhou,the canal Hangzhou is facing the transformation stage of pollution control,the coastal space is facing the relocation and decline of industrial areas,and the positioning is rapidly changing from industrialization to consumer service.In the 1990 s,Hangzhou government carried out a large-scale renovation of the canal,and began to protect the historic areas along the canal,including industrial heritage,at the beginning of this century.Remarkable achievements have been made,but there are still many problems to be solved.In order to construct the industrial heritage corridor of canal Hangzhou,28 historical and cultural sections and Industrial Heritage related nodes are selectedin this paper as the research objects.Firstly,through the research on urban renewal and related practice and theory at home and abroad,combined with the field researches,expert consultation and the characteristics of the research objects,the evaluation elements of waterfront industrial heritage renewal of Hangzhou historical and cultural section of the canal are put forwardin this paper,and then the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to establish the evaluation index system of waterfront industrial heritage renewal is introducedfrom the start of the project.Based on the hierarchical model of the whole process from construction to use,the judgment matrix is constructed by experts’ scoring,and then the weights of the first and second level indicators in the updated evaluation system are calculated.Thus,a relatively complete evaluation model is established,and the evaluation model is applied to evaluate the updating practice of the research object under the goal of constructing the industrial heritage corridor.At the same time,the comprehensive evaluation results are analyzed,and the transformation and regeneration strategies of waterfront industrial heritage are put forward.Finally,the strategyis appliedin Qiaoxi historical district.The existing domestic research mainly focuses on the analysis of the current situation of industrial heritage or the description of the future design vision,and lacks the analysis of the realization path.The innovation of this paper is as follows: in view of the construction of the industrial heritage corridor of the Grand Canal Hangzhou,an evaluation system for the transformation and regeneration of single node in the industrial heritage corridor is put forward in this paper.According to the life cycle of the renewal project,the evaluation system is divided into three stages,such as start-up,construction and use stages.The improvement strategies can give consideration to both vision and path.
