As Chinese first historical route concept with Tang Dynasty poetry cultural theme,’the Tang Dynasty Poetry Road’ is also a unique cultural symbol in East Zhejiang. However, due to various reasons, this poetry road only exists on the paper and has not been implemented in the landscape. From the perspective of the heritage corridor, this article puts the Poetry Road in the era of global tourism, integrates the resource value of the poetry road from the spatial level, and transforms it from the historical road and the literary road on the desk to the road of tourism in reality.Providing basic research is also useful for the formulation of protection plans for such cultural heritage without material carriers. This article mainly extracts 57 locations involved in relevant poems from the two monographs Zhu Yuebing’s ’the Collection of Tang Dynasty Poetry Road’ and ’The Road of Tang Dynasty Poetry in East Zhejiang’ by Zou Zhifang, and obtains the cultural heritage points of the Road.Combining geographic information and relying on the Arc GIS10.2,the spatial distribution characteristics of 57 cultural heritage sites in the Road were analyzed. The study found that these heritage sites generally follow the ’Shaoxing-Tiantai’ trend, and there are three main density clusters, namely Yuecheng District and Keqiao District of Shaoxing City,Tiantai County of Taizhou City, and Linhai City of Taizhou City;the distribution of heritage sites is similar to the mountain-shaped water potential in the eastern region has a significant correlation, and it is more distributed at the waterside, foothills, and mountainsides. And through the analysis of the appearance frequency of the poems involved in each cultural heritage site,it is found that the heritage sites in Shaoxing and Tiantai are more favored by poets.Based on the above findings, the space planning of the Poetry Road Heritage Corridor is carried out.Firstly, using the ecological MCR method, the resistance surface model is used to evaluate the suitability of constructing the Poetry Road heritage corridor in eastern Zhejiang to generate a cost path. Then combined with the spatial distribution characteristics of the cultural heritage site of the Poetry Road, the status quo of protection and utilization and the distribution status of the ecological conservation space in East Zhejiang, the cost path is optimized, and the most important cost path is selected as the potential corridor path.In addition, the spatial layout of the heritage corridor was determined from the aspect of ecological function, and the theme of its interpretation system was determined from the aspect of landscape resource characteristics. The research results of this paper can provide a basis for spatial planning for the follow-up protection and development of the Tang Dynasty Poetry Road in Eastern Zhejiang.
