| Xi’an "Eight-Rivers" has a long history and profound heritage value,and it shows the “unity of man and nature”construction wisdom of "mountain,water,people and city" in the capital city of Chang’an for thousands of years.Although it is almost in decline,the distinctive regional characteristics presented by the blend of nature and humanities have become a landscape carrier of Xi’an’s cultural context.However,rapid urbanization has led to a loss of historical features of the "Eight-Rivers",and the sprawl has made the rivers linear landscape featureless.Ignoring of "Eight-Rivers" linear cultural heritage is a waste of urban heritage resources and a lack of ecological civilization.The "heritage corridor",as a kind of linear landscape for a dual protection and comprehensive utilization of natural and cultural heritage,has been extended from "large canals" and "cultural routes" to the field of medium and small-scale linear heritage protection with the development in recent years.It provides a theoretical basis for the protection and inheritance of the urban water-system cultural landscape and the research of historical features of the waterfront area.The research paper content is divided into five parts: Part one: Introduction and research framework.By determining the research object and method,technical route and theoretical framework,three research topics on sustainable construction of the "Eight-Rivers" heritage corridor system in Xi’an are proposed: "Textual research on historical linear space form of the " Eight-Rivers " heritage corridor system;The value system and evaluation of linear cultural heritage of the " Eight-Rivers " heritage corridor,The " construction theory " of spatial suitability protection of the " Eight-Rivers " heritage corridor system.Part two: historical linear space form and textual research method of the " Eight-Rivers " heritage corridor system in Xi’an.Through the " spatial genealogy textual research method ",evolution process of the " Eight-Rivers ",lakes and ponds and artificial canals were sorted out from the seven periods of prehistory: Thou,Qin,Han,Tang,Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China,and determined the historical linear spatial form of the " Eight-Rivers " heritage corridor system.Part three:value system and evaluation method of the " Eight-Rivers " heritage corridor.First of all,the historical origin and value composition of " Eight-Rivers " as a distinct and complete urban water-system space in Xi’an are determined through the " document textual research method " of historical geography;Secondly,based on the " AHP Analytic Hierarchy Process ",it proposes value evaluation framework and model of the" Eight-Rivers " linear cultural heritage,clarifies protection object and protection weightb Thirdly,Based on " Web GIS database construction ",and spatial distribution characteristics of " Eight-Rivers " linear Heritage nodes type were analyzed;thereby further clarifying the cultural theme and historical features of the " Eight-Rivers "heritage corridors and local sections,Determined by the width of heritage corridor suitability protection through the increasing trend of cross-section distribution;Part four:the research on the construction method of the " Eight-Rivers " heritage corridor system suitability.Based on the above conclusions and the theory of " heritage corridor " space construction,the urban " water-system heritage corridor " space construction model and section suitability protection strategy are proposed and combined with the construction suitability analysis of " Arc GIS(MCR)resistance model ",and summarized " the five Segment Suitability Construction Mode sections " of Xi’an " Eight-Rivers”heritage Corridor and corresponding Selection Evaluation Method of it;as well as selected "one corridor" and "five paragraphs" to Typical example discussion.Part five: Research conclusions and prospects.It summarizes research conclusions of construction methods of suitability of Xi’an "Eight-Rivers" heritage corridor system,and discusses and looks forward to research questions of future sustainability.The innovations of this paper are as follow: 1.The Xi’an "Eight-Rivers" heritage corridor system is based on the principle of "respecting the historical and geographical process of "status + heritage path" as the linear space selection principle;2.The value assessment of the "Eight-Rivers" heritage corridor system is proposed: three core standards of "The value degree of cultural relic protection grade","value correlation"and "conservation status",and the evaluation factor framework and calculation model with weighted values.;3.It divides the“Eight-Rivers”linear cultural heritage nodes into10 categories and 40 sub-categories,and a Web GIS database was constructed based on this;it reveals the spatial distribution characteristics of heritage nodes and the segmental cultural themes and historical features.4.It summarizes five suitable space construction modes for Xi’an "Eight-Rivers" Heritage Corridor system: "Isolation","Transition","Interlocking","Extension","Green Melting" and demonstrates them with examples. |
