With the development of economic globalization,China’s economy has achieved great development and make great leap forward.With the rapid development,the economic of China’s export and foreign investment has also been expanding.With the increase of China’s economy,more and more International EPC projects are undertaken by China.This mature model of construction shows both opportunity and challenge for engineering projects.Most of the International EPC projects under the "the belt and road initiative" strategy are large-scale infrastructure construction projects,which usually have extremely high requirements for logistics risk control and management.Although,China has more experience and higher ability in undertaking overseas engineering projects on related logistics,Chinese logistics enterprises are facing higher challenges with the expansion and higher difficulty of overseas engineering projects.How to improve the capacity of logistics transportation and reduce risks in international construction project become the priority problem for every logistics enterprise.Based on the research status above,this study makes an intensive study on the risk management of life cycle engineering logistics of international EPC projects.Taking A rail transit project in Ethiopia as a research case,from the perspective of the whole logistics life cycle,this study divides the the risk management of international EPC projects in logistics by time dimensions,and discusses the risk identification and management at different time stages in logistics sections.In order to make the overall structure of this article more clear and definite,First of all,this study makes an intensive background study and data collecting,at the same time,I have explained the basic purpose of doing this study,and combed the existing relevant literature,the classical conclusions are listed one by one,and the applied methods and the contents to be discussed are deeply analyzed,and find that there is few relatively study for risk management by time dimensions,and provides ideas and research direction for the following research;Secondly,find the definition of EPC project and engineering logistics.Based on the research goal,this study introduces in detail of related theories,such as risk factor identification and risk management methods of international EPC engineering logistics project,which lays a solid theoretical foundation for the following research.Thirdly,identify the logistics risk factors in different stages which from the perspective of project establishment,start-up,implementation and end of the whole cycle,It provides a basis for the accurate implementation of risk management response measures.Fourthly,based on the risk factors in A rail transit project in Ethiopia logistics obtained from the above research,the corresponding management measures are put forward,and the risk management in the international logistics process is evaluated from the perspective of whole cycle;Finally,the risk factors existing in the logistics of case projects are evaluated and identified,with the help of AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,the evaluation system and model of engineering logistics risk management are constructed,and give the evaluation connclusion of risk management to A rail transit project in Ethiopia.
